The figures to be included in the series will be announced at NYCC on 9th October.

My friend is actually putting her hair up in the picture, but I love the look she is giving-- it is so "fierce" haha. I also like the contrast of the old blue garage door behind her with the bright colors of her dress.
The Mound
Conspicuous in the scene is the earthen mound, or raised, artificial road, which forms one of the lines of communication between the Old and the New Town. This is a modern work, and though neither an object of beauty, of science, or of art, is of great public accommodation and convenience.
"This huge deformity, of lumpish length," extending from Hanover-street in the New Town, to Bank-street in the Old, owes its origin to a tradesman, named Boyd, who raised some planks across the north loch for the purpose of obtaining a nearer line of communication - from the former to the latter parts of the town.
The excavated materials which were dug to lay the foundations of new buildings, were ordered to be thrown into this place, and gradually accumulating, soon formed a large and substantial bank.
Although its precise contents and measurements cannot be accurately ascertained, it may be calculated at 720 feet in length, 160 in breadth, and 78 feet in height. Its solid contents are estimated at two millions of cart loads, or seven thousand entire yards of earth.
Origin unknown
I heart these things. The 50 pack (same brand..) was cheaper than the 30 pack. What is up with that? Sam's Club is stupid sometimes.
Flame project is an international US-Cambodia collaboration expedition that seeks to understand water quality from Laos to the Vietnam Border. The team is studying the health of the river, water quality, mercury, plastic pollution, greenhouse gases (methane carbon dioxide) that are important for climate change. The project is led by Dr. Sudeep Chandra, professor of the University of Nevada Reno and member of the Wonders of the Mekong team. The FLAME project was started on 18 February 2022 by boat from Phnom Penh along Bassac River to the Vietnam border and back, and the next day from Phnom Penh along the Mekong River to the Vietnam border and back. From 20-26 February 2022 we are going upstream from Phnom Penh getting through Kampong Cham, Kratie provinces, and finishing at the Onlong Chheur Teal dolphin pools near the Lao border in Stung Treng Province.
