Hard to choose a favourite from the images I took of Vica but this is probably it. When I've gotten round to processing them I'll stick the rest online too.
- Pink Tropical Lou/Hanoi
This is a project started by an idea from a friend, Rina Matsui owner of the FlowerDrum chain.
We are looking for flowerdrum bags that have been to various different parts of the world. If you own one, please send a photo of you and the bag at that interesting place to e.dyanty@gmail.com
"aiyah, my bags have travelled the world with me - from san francisco to shanghai. but the only photo i've found (for now) in which the bag is visible is this one in front of the st joseph's cathedral in hanoi.
this is one of my favourite bags and i've taken it on many travels - it matches my pink crocs! heh heh. abang and i were in hanoi in may for 6 days, and this photo was taken just before we stumbled upon Ipa-Nima (have a photo of myself in front of the shop with this bag, but you can barely see the bag, so useless lah).
anyway, this is a GREAT idea, and it's ABOUT TIME that you put this together!
and on my part, will remember to take photos with my bag visible next time!" -Suhana
Ulster Project Celebration Concert at The Oakridge School in Arlington, Texas, Saturday, July 23, 2016.
As this last day of the decade draws to a close, I thought it fitting to spend some time editing the Tucson All Souls Procession photos of projected portraits. For the Day of the Dead celebrations, these haunting images shared on stages really appeal to me. I wonder if some day one of those who contributed a photo will recognize their friend or family member in my composition.
Some of our caretakers have been hard at work on a well deserved “DIY SOS” project upgrading The Willows Project's garden on the High Street, next to Tom Williams Court. Coastal Housing Group, Keyline Builders Merchants and Homebase have donated time and materials to support the development of vegetable patches, flowers beds and a patio area at the Willows, a supported living service run by national disability charity Walsingham. A fantastic effort from our caretakers don’t you think
Day 227 of 365
Today was Lily's birthday party. The kids had a ton of fun on the slip and slide! To bad they don't make these slides big enough for adults!
A visit to Toronto's Design Exchange to see the Lingerie Francaise exhibition - lots of pretty lacy things...
Taken from the top of the stairs at the back of the National Library. The building is down, the fencing is up, but nothing else seems to have been done to this for months.

And here's the finished doll!
May I present to you: Ninny, my first Blythe custom doll.
I had much fun customizing her and I guess she won't be the only Blythe here for a long time.
Hope you'll like her, too : )!

At the hairdressers'. While I was waiting for my appointment I looked at these temporary colours. Next winter I might try some.

After I took a pic of the UP power I figured I'd get a shot of what I presume is a new storage take for 32% Nitrogen going up at FS. Though in some ways it seams small if that is what it is.
Lunch at Squat & Gobble in the Castro after a heavy shoulder workout. Iced tea while waiting for a grilled salmon sandwich and watching the men go by.
Sootie sleeps in some very strange positions. Here she is all tucked up at one end and stretched out at the other.

project 52 wk10- mothers day flowers. Strobist info: 2 Nikon SB800 strobes placed at 45 degrees to subject and bounced off the ceiling, triggered using the on camera flash.
Meyer lemons, I bought at the grocery store after my walk to the local camera place to see if they couldn't get the speck off my lens. 2nd camera place today confirmed it not on my lens, but on the sensor. So the speck stays, because I don't have $200 to fix it. I'm so bummed.
CEA Project Logistics came to the rescue of a local radio station. Pattaya105fm is located along the Sukhumvit Road in Pattaya City, the local electric company needed to make urgent repairs to the overhead cables that had been damaged in a recent fire. This would result in no power for 6 hours. Without power the radio station and the adjoining office servers would shut down and essential data would be lost, and the airwaves would remain silent! CEA kindly supplied a generator for the duration of the power outage free of charge.
