Data projector shenanigans

My projector in it's current state. More bits of it live outside the case than in. The far-superior leatherclad monstrosity from earlier in the photostream is currently in storage awaiting further modification. In the interim, this little kludge has taken it's place.

Oooh the plans I have for this little guy. There's just a number of projects I need to address before returning to this one.

Loads of geeks but no one can drive the projector. A short time ago the NRM had the Great Gathering and had six of Sir Nigel Gresley's A4 locomotives (including Mallard, which still has the steam locomotive speed record) all in one place. Two have now left but four still remain.

The last of 3 projector bulbs from the large 46" rear projector TV we had that lasted all of 20 mins in the new flat before 'blowing'. It's taken me 2 years to throw away the pieces, bit at a time
