The Dirty Projectors played Vancouver last night at Richards on Richards and they were pretty fantastic. They came out as a six piece but Dave Longstreth and Angel Deradoorian were by far the most captivating to photograph.

The projector mounts I made were flexible; rigged right-side-up or up-side-down, they allowed us to position the projectors in a variety of positions on the AutoPoles. Projectors borrowed from Digital Performance Institute
this reminded me of a cat after i'd taken it, because the spacing between the flowers makes it look like a cats nose :)
this is the basic set up for our projector, which has replaced our television set. the projector sits in nathan's closet, which is behind the wall that the couch sits against, and shines through a hole in the wall. when not watching movies, the hole is covered by a strategically placed piece of framed art.
we were watching australia when this photo was taken, and i will have you know that it is a terrible movie.
8mm Film Projector that belonged to the Grand Rapids Amateur Movie Club. According to the club records, it was last checked out for use by a member in 1962. Still works perfectly

Playing around with chalk dust (from my climbing chalk) and projector beams. Composited from three separate photos, then messed with the hue.
