Here's a strange thing. When I left work tonight there was a pigeon perched up in the rafters of the Sports Hall. You might be able to spot it in centre frame.

The caretaker was scratching his head trying to get the bloody thing back outside. I don't know if he was ultimately successful!

From work I went to pick Laura up, and as I was busting for the loo I masked up and went into the hospital. In the main entrance, three people were chasing a pigeon out!

"Thumbs Up For Burn Class"

Survived, just! Pictured here with Lucy and Sisi, who absolutely destroyed the class, as usual!

A rare photo of Violet in the wild. Ok, not a rare photo, but here she is at Lake Rosseau, Muskoka, taking a break while chasing a tennis ball.

The moon looked interesting tonight so I grabbed my camera, swapped lenses, went outside and... it was gone. I waited and managed to get this shot as the clouds briefly and partially cleared.

So Matt was doing some clearing the garden and then got a fright as he disturbed a sleeping hedgehog!

We've covered him up again and he's shuffled to a shadier spot so let's hope he sticks around. :)

Any suggestions for names? Spike? Quilliam?

In other news, I've been in work until after midnight again screwing computers together. It's going well though.

This frog was in our toilet this morning! My husband had already gone to work, so Keegan, my 11 year old next door neighbor came over and caught Mr. Frog and put him outside.

Rainbowy pillow I got for my birthday. Pretty :)

Seen at CHA airport today (Chattanooga, Tennessee). It's hot down here! The long term forecast is littered with 99 and 100 F type of temperatures. I was met with a wall of heat and humidity walking off the plane.

I have been posting photos in arrears on my daily project. I will try to get back on schedule today. This is from Friday evening. Violet, standing on a slate tile (for our fire pit), is deciding whether to drop the ball or not.

I saw this dog treat at Target and had to get it for my babes...only a $1.48 each! I got one for each of them. I love how it says Macho Mutt on the package. Don't tell Lucy! She's a pretty princess. Although she is probably more macho than Frankie is. I spread out some blankets and let them have at it today. These kinds of toys are notorious for staining the carpet. I think my favorite part of this treat is that it says, "Tool" on it. Tool! Frankie is a tool.
