I've owned my house for twenty-two years and never once in all the years before handed out candy for Halloween. I know ... not cool. Since my kids were coming over to spend the weekend, I realized I'd be home right at the time kids would be beginning their exciting door-to-door marching rituals through the community. My kids decided to bail on me last minute. Josh decided to go to a party with his friends and Jaydon decided to go trick-or-treating one last time with his friends. So, that left dad ... home by himself, with a huge bowl of candy. Now some of you know that I'm a calorie counter and choose not to eat much candy so my first thought was ... well, I have to get rid of it. It would have been easy to shut the lights and look like nobody was home, but with 200 pieces of candy! No way! Besides, I really was looking forward to my first time at this. Actually, I liked it so well that I'm already looking forward to next year! Except those 200 pieces of candy was not nearly enough for 2 hours - I almost ran out. So, for my first time "Treating" I thought I'd document and include this as part of my project and to share it with all of you! ;)

giornata infruttuosa... almeno il bere ed il leggere lasciano un ottima firma

A collection of jobs from the Spacial Archives.

A rainbow seen on the floor as I walked up the steps from the station. Caused by the sun hitting the edge of the sliding door at the top of the steps. I'm taking it as a sign of good things to come. (Yes, I increased the colour saturation).

Mini decorative plates...

A collection of 1:12 scale minis I made from paper kits you can order from www.paperminis.com!

These kits come ready to cut out and glue together and have very good, clear graphics.

They are challenging and fun projects to do for your dollhouse.

The Canis latrans ochropus project is well underway. So far the results have not been what I had hoped but the camera traps are working. We placed one a dead doe. This location yielded Turkey Vultures, Common Raccoons. and this hungry Gray Fox. The recent storms here were a big event because I am getting fresh tracks. There will be two bait stations this weekend so I am hoping we bring in some Coyotes...wish us luck

Lines from deck on fresh snow...

I'm off sick with the nastiest cold I've have had for years so there's not a lot to inspire me for my photos at the moment. Looking around for something to snap for my daily shot I settled on the fridge magnets.
