Buttons and program designed for a wedding in North Carolina.
The couple requested tattoo designs and silhouettes in their wedding colors – orange, red and hot pink.
The programs match the invitations I designed for them.

The Sokol SK-1 suit was worn by Yuri Gagarin during the first flight to orbit the Earth, on April 12, 1961. It was fully pressurized and had connectors for a life support system. (I'm pretty sure this is a Sokol SK-1 suit, not the actual suit Gagarin wore!)
I was bemused by the lace-up boots. I can only assume they have airtight lining.
This exhibit at the Henry Ford Museum is titled "Apollo: When We Went to the Moon", but it includes the historical background of the space program (starting with the Cold War) and also contains items from the Soviet space program.
The 2016 theme of "Find Your Park, Gain a Classroom" attracted a keenly focused crowd of teachers and other museum historical site educators to this year's Teaching the Hudson Valley 2016 Summer Institute. Over 85 environmentalists, curators, park rangers and local legislators gathered at the FDR Home & Presidential Library to hone their storytelling skills, identify expert resources and share successes with others. Registrants enjoyed live performances (like our unique play Striving For Freedom - SFF), music (jazz compositions by TK Blue inspired by the journey of Solomon Northrup), thoughtful panel discussions, field excursions and more.
Topics ranged from practical - finding aid to pay for school buses to motivational - promoting community pride and civic advocacy. The information was pertinent; the panelists and speakers were passionate. The easy camaraderie between naturalists and historians was particularly inspiring - for us, the chance to network with a wide spectrum of parks' stakeholders at the same forum was another positive aspect of the conference.
We are very much looking forward to working with many of the NPS representatives, environmentalists and educators we met in the future - we made so many new contacts!
An extra big thank you to our actors Joy Kelly and Christa Victoria whose outstanding thespian talents and dedication make SFF an unforgettable experience. We're excited by the feedback and many new school sign-ups! Thanks to a grant from Con Edison we can offer SFF to schools free of charge; next we hope to be able to help fund transportation to bring schools to see it.

These are the physical therapy exercises that I am supposed to be doing in order to recover from hip replacement surgery. Right now number 3 is the hardest for me. I can not get the left leg to return to center without applying outside force after spreading them apart. Number 6 is the next most difficult, but I can manage.
It is not at all like the old 1950s B Western movies where the hero gets shot with an arrow, pulls it out on his own and two scenes later is back to fighting the bad guys.
“One-two, one-two, on the ball of your feet now, dukes up!” On July 10, 2013, a summer-long boxing program hosted by the anti-obesity initiative “Knockout Obesity” kicked off at The Boys’ Club of New York (BCNY) in lower Manhattan. Brooklyn restauranteur Dimitrios Verteouris, founded Knockout Obesity after he lost 82lbs in three months using boxing and his own good eats from Nature's Grill. Each Wednesday, Dimitrios trained his young students with the help of a professional boxer, including Marcus Browne, Danny Jacobs, Shemuel Pagan and Gary Stark, Jr. Whether 6-years-old, or 17, Dimitrios engaged his young students with sit-ups, push-ups, and jumping jacks, followed by one-on-one tutorials on posture and vigorous rounds of shadowboxing, padworks, and glove to glove. Joining Verteouris on day one, was team member and author, Dr. Wendy Scinta, a childhood obesity expert and bariatric surgeon with her own practice, Medical Weight Loss of New York, PLLC. Quizzing the kids on fat, carbs, sugar and protein, she demonstrated the effect of fast food on the body with a suitcase full of fat. Knockout Obesity is a part of BCNY’s Mental & Physical Health programming.

While I'm not a fan of hotels with women names I like them better than those containing traditional words - Park, City, Square and likes.
This were one of few shots from Rollei Prego 30 with film I unloaded from Minox 35 midroll after I discovered my repair attempt isn't too successful and shutter isn't closing (but I still got some pictures before problem returned). My Prego 30 overexposes - I learned this from previous rolls so I modified DX code of Paradies 100 (Kodak Gold?) film to ISO200 and think this is the way to use it.
