(or The Flowers of Progress)" at the Hippodrome Theatre, Keighley, staged by Keighley Amateur Operatic and Dramatic Society in December 1924. This page includes cast member photographs of Louis G. Bacon as Lord Dramaleigh, George Atkinson as Captain Sir Edward Corcoran, Arthur G. Ramsden as Captain Fitzbattleaxe, S. Calvert as Mr. Goldbury, C. Haigh as Mr. Blushington, and Arthur V. Robinson as Sir Bailey Barre.

 

Keighley Amateur Operatic and Dramatic Society's production of "Utopia Ltd." played at the Hippodrome Theatre in Keighley for six nights (and a Saturday matinee) from Monday 1st to Saturday 6th December 1924. The comic opera was written by W. S. Gilbert and Arthur Sullivan. The KAODS production was produced by Edwin Bryan, with musical director Joseph Harker.

 

The 42-page programme was printed by The Keighley Printers Ltd. of High Street, Keighley. It measures approximately 185mm by 250mm. The programme was part of an anonymous donation given in 2022.

Turku Music Festival at the Turku Market Place!

Keighley Playhouse's production of '101 Dalmatians' was performed at the Playhouse from Monday 5th to Saturday 10th December 2005. This was the third play in the 2005/06 season. The play was adapted from Dodi Smith's book by Steven Clark who also directed the production.

 

The cast was headed up by Barbara Boothroyd as Cruella De Vil, with Paul Glover as Pongo and Rachel McMahon as Missis Pongo. The extensive cast also included Chris Stocks, Wendy Todd, Gill Walbank, Barbara Ramsden, Irene Savu, Ian Wilkinson, Howard Clements, Robert Lister, John Greenwood, Dale Chadwick, Mike Boothroyd, Michael Moore, Beth Welch, Beth Gorman, Lewis Todd, Joshua Freeman, Bradley Judge, Chloe Judge, Debbie Bowman, Norma Garnett, Kate Fielding, Emily Donaldson, Alex Donaldson, Thomas Bowman, Moheeb Zafar and Danyal Zafar.

 

The 16-page programme is part of the Christine Broadley Collection, donated by Christine in 2024.

All your hard work is very much appreciated and congratulations to Cheryl and Cristina for completing the PGCAP!!! All tutors now hold a teaching qualification in HE and all will be FHEA very very soon. ;)

Summer is usually a time when most children and young people are more available to engage in positive activities due to the summer holidays. The Summer Programme was designed specifically young people with various different projects and activities taking place.

 

The Summer Programme was an ideal opportunity for young people to get involved in fun and exciting activities which consisted of workshops such as self-defence, first aid and cultural awareness.. It also gave the young people a prospect of meeting new friends, gaining confidence, learning new skills and gaining team building skills.
