Studies have shown the average working hours of full-time employees in Australia are long and have been steadily getting longer which is contributing to extra stress, poor family relations and a lower quality of social relationships.

 

In a bid to encourage healthy living with a companion animal, on Friday April 4 The Lost Dogs’ Home will host the first Human Walking Program at Flagstaff Gardens. Adoptable dogs of all ages, temperaments and breeds will wait patiently to take officer workers out for a walk, or have a quick, playful pat before you head back to the office.

Most Rev. David J. Walkowiak, bishop of Grand Rapids, and members of The Catholic Foundation of West Michigan's (CFWM) Bishop’s Angels' Annual Giving Program celebrated the 20th Anniversary of the program Wednesday, Oct. 2, 2019, the feast day of The Holy Guardian Angel. The celebration took place at The University Club of Grand Rapids.

 

Guests were welcomed by Bishop Walkowiak and enjoyed panoramic views of downtown, mingling with friends, leafing through photo albums of past events and learning about The Foundation’s 2019 Strategic Plan.

The ASBP is holding several blood drivers over the summer in conjunction with Army ROTC Cadet Command. Pictured here is a blood drive that took place on July 1, 2023, with donors primarily from the 1st Regiment (Advanced Camp), A, B, C, and Delta Companies. These selfless donations will become lifesaving blood products that can directly support the warfighter.

Albany Technical College Honors Program 2017

Norwood Elementary coach Zeph Lee, former USC and NFL Raiders football player, leads students in stretching and exercise games at an after-school program. The student body is predominantly Latino and has several kindergarten students who weigh over 100 lbs. However, the school runs seven different special programs on physical activity and health education ranging from 7am to 6pm.

The Ohio Export Internship Program helps businesses grow by expanding internationally, and gives undergraduate students the skills and experience to succeed in a globally competitive job market.

 

The Ohio Export Internship Program is a collaboration between the Ohio Development Services Agency, The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business and Youngstown State University’s Williamson College of Business Administration, placing students in businesses across the state. The 42-member graduating class of 2015 showcases the positive impact of these partnerships between the state of Ohio, its universities and private industry.

 

Since 2012, the program has generated millions of dollars of global sales for Ohio companies, and created more than 100 internationally focused internships. Ohio exports reached a record-setting $52.1 billion in 2014, and continue to drive economic growth and fuel job creation in our state.
