Brighter Bites is a collaborative effort designed to improve access to healthy, affordable food and provide nutrition education. The University of Texas School of Public Health, KIPP Schools, the Houston Food Bank and Texas Children's Hospital have partnered to offer the 16-week program to third-grade children enrolled at KIPP Explore Academy and their parents. As you can see from the photos, those healthy kale smoothies are a hit!
The 2015 Youth and Mentors Film Program was a filmmaking workshop that brought together youth and the people they look up to in their community. They collaborated to produce these powerful short films, and were featured in a short documentary. The program was made possible with the support of the Peel Regional Police, The Journey Neighbourhood Centre, and the Province of Ontario.

New Jersey Youth ChalleNGe Academy graduation ceremony for Class 59 was held in Sea Girt, New Jersey, June 16, 2025. The New Jersey Youth ChalleNGe Academy is an alternative education program designed to reclaim the lives of at-risk 16 to 18 year old youths and produce graduates with the values, skills, education, and self-discipline necessary to succeed as adults. The National Guard Youth ChalleNGe Program was established by congress in 1993. New Jersey’s first ChalleNGe class began in September 1994. (U.S. Army National Guard photo by Sgt. Michael Schwenk)
I made four layer programs, with a black backing, wrapped over the top. I secured them with different colored ribbons - which coordinated with our wedding colors (black, hot pink and lime green). The inspiration was the program from my friend Juliana's wedding.
Victory Programs' 2017 Dinnerfest RED Party + Auction was one for the record books with a celebrity-style step and repeat, returning rock-star auctioneer Kathy Kingston and premium prizes including a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to throw the first pitch at PRIDE night at Fenway park that sold for nearly $5,000 after Dinnerfest co-chair Tiffani Faison upped the anti not once, not twice, but three times, sweetening the deal with additional goodies courtesy of her 2nd restaurant, Sweet Cheeks Q which happens to be steps away from Fenway Park, live on stage to motivate bidders! Guest who wore red, the signature color for the event, were entered into a special raffle. The event raised more than $130,000, last year's record and supports Victory Programs' 17 health, housing and prevention programs which serve more than 2,300 men, women and children annually.

President Keita delivered opening remarks, after which he sat down for an interview with Brookings President John R. Allen.

Foi ao som do animado samba na rua, com o desfile de uma escola de samba, que o jardim do Cáster começou a assistir a uma grande concentração de pessoas, que foram enchendo o espaço para o evento de apresentação do programa eleitoral e de todos os candidatos da Coligação PSD-CDS/PP aos Órgãos Autárquicos de Ovar. Com as presenças especiais de Pedro Passos Coelho e de Diogo Feyo e também com os candidatos à Assembleia da República por Ovar - Acácio Coelho e Raul Almeida, a coligação apostou forte nas ideias que vão marcar a Mudança Positiva no Concelho de Ovar. Álvaro Santos fez um discurso emocionante, repleto de ideias novas, projectos inovadores em áreas estratégicas e, sobretudo, deixou as certezas de concretizar e agir para projectar Ovar e acabar com tantos anos de marasmo. No final a união e a confiança ficaram demonstradas ao som do Hino da Mudança Positiva, apresentado também ontem.
