A Fundação Municipal de Cultura (FMC), em parceria com a Belotur e o Sindicato dos Produtores de Artes Cênicas de Minas Gerais (Sinparc), lançou na sexta-feira, dia 15/3/2013, o programa Agenda Criativa: A Economia Criativa dos Setores Artísticos de Belo Horizonte. Neste sábado, dia 16/3/2013, serão formados quatro grupos de trabalhos, compostos por convidados de instituições ligadas à área de artes cênicas: Sinparc, Sated, MTG e Fórum da Dança. Estes grupos irão discutir aspectos que envolvem a cadeia criativa do setor, tais como formação e qualificação, produção e criação, consumo, difusão e distribuição, investimentos e patrocínios, entre outros. From wikipedia: Bloom (sometimes referred to as light bloom) is a computer graphics effect used in computer games and high dynamic range rendering (HDR) to reproduce an imaging artifact of real-world cameras. The effect produces fringes (or feathers) of light around very bright objects in an image.
This image shows my implementation of the bloom effect. Although you have to admit the bloom is too excessive in the image, but who cares? It looks cool, doesn't it?
The resulting real time image is post-processed through a GLSL shader, after which it is shown. I did it in a very simple way, I blurred the image, then multiplied the result with the original.
The game in action! It has a background now that says "ECE 476 Dodge!" and there are two balls on the screen at a time. In the background, the font is Silkscreen by Kottke.

SAGINAW —The Most Rev. Joseph R. Cistone, Bishop of Saginaw, commissioned new members of the Lay Ministry Program on Sunday, Sept. 13 at the Cathedral of Mary of the Assumption in Saginaw. The Lay Ministry Program offers deep spiritual, theological and pastoral formation for lay people so that they may be even more effective in carrying out the lay apostolate and evangelization. Lay ministry formation involves four years of learning, spiritual formation and pastoral practice before each candidate is commissioned by the bishop for parish-based lay ministry or missioned by the bishop as a “Christian in the World.” The newly-commissioned lay ministers join more than 350 other lay ministers actively involved in service across the Diocese of Saginaw.
