Seabiscuit's former jockey lives locally and he described the world of thoroughbred racing in the 1930s when Seabiscuit was the “all-star” of all time. He shared a scrapbook filled with his racing career highlights and shared many memories. The library was filled to capacity that day.

October 18, 2023 - Participants from the âREnewables in Latin America and the Caribbeanâ (RELAC) initiative tour the Flatirons Campus of the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) in Arvada, Colorado. Their visit to NREL also included a behind-the scenes look at the Energy Systems Integration Facility (ESIF), including the 3-D visualization laboratory and the hydrogen research areas. Participants from the individual countries also gave presentations on their action plans for energy storage. Home countries for the participants included El Salvador, Guatemala, Haiti, Honduras, Panama, Peru, Chile, Bolivia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, and the Dominican Republic. (Photo by Werner Slocum / NREL)
