The Teen Intern Program offers students the opportunity to gain work experience by assisting professional educators in the Museum’s art studio and galleries, while simultaneously exploring art and Jewish culture, and developing their own creative interests. Photos by Matthew Carasella.
STATE PARTNERSHIP PROGRAM: Members from the Delaware National Guard, and DNG's Youth ChalleNGe Program Christine Kubik and Karen Hughes met with Trinidad and Tibago's Military-Led Academic Training Program (MiLAT) representatives to discuss each other's programs and best practices. The DNG is in Trinidad and Tobago this week as part of the National Guard's State Partnership Program, developing relationships with the various departments within Trinidad's Defence Force.
Through SPP, the National Guard conducts military-to-military engagements in support of defense security goals but also leverages whole-of-society relationships and capabilities to facilitate broader interagency and corollary engagements spanning military, government, economic and social spheres. Linear Programming deals with the optimization (maximization or minimization) of linear functions subject to linear constraints.This technique has found its applications to important areas of product mix, blending problems and diet problems.Oil refineries, chemical industries, steel industries and food processing industry are also using linear programming with considerable success. Linear programming problems involving only two variables can be effectively solved by a graphical technique which provides a pictorial representation of the solution.

SCLOrk (the Santa Clara Laptop Orchestra) is an innovative ensemble of up to sixteen players dedicated to the creation and performance of live electronic music. Created in the Spring of 2012 by SCU faculty Bruno Ruviaro and students, this interdisciplinary group explores the intersection of music composition, live performance, human/computer interaction, programming, and sound design, with emphasis on musical creativity based on cutting-edge technologies.

The model is again the 'imp' from Doom3. This time it is animated using its own animations in md5anim format. The model itself is parsed from an md5mesh file.
The application is a small test application using OpenGL. The file parsing is done using good ol' fopen and fread. The skeletal animation was coded by myself and tediously going through numerous articles. But I have to admit I did not understand the math behind skeletal animation. :( If I were to use skeletal animation again, I would code it all over again.

Noted Zambian artist and art teacher Mwamba Mulangala developed a Visual Arts Program for the youth served by Lubuto Libraries, held weekly in Lubuto’s purpose-built Arts and Activities Buildings. The program began at the first Lubuto Library in Lusaka in September 2007.
