**STEAL AND TRANSFORM - ACT - REVOLUTION BEGINS WITH THE SMALLEST ACTIONS**
Shot taken from the summit of mount Rocciamelone (3.538 m).
During the blue hour, before night falls, the mountains of the Vanoise National Park begin to draw dark profiles... while to the west a shining beam of light reminds us about a sunset that is still happening in distant lands.
This is the subtle charm of being at high altitude during the most atmospheric hours of the day.

On a rain-filled afternoon of September 28, 2014, Montana Rail Link SD45 (SD45M) No. 351 hustles a westbound BNSF freight along the Yellowstone River at Elton, Montana. The locomotive exudes muscle in her profile, and labeling it as such isn’t much of a stretch. Built by EMD for Great Northern as No. 415 in April 1967, she is a former roster mate to more famous Great Northern No. 400 christened “Hustle Muscle” that was EMD’s first 3,600 h.p. locomotive. Preservation for No. 400 came in the form of the GN Railway Historical Society and Minnesota Transportation Museum. But on a cold day in Big Sky Country, as rainwater streaks down the sides of a nearly 50-year-old machine, the fate of one of her sisters is unknown and will likely be decided soon.

Here is another photo of this beautiful tiger. In the short time I was at the zoo this beauty was the most active so I was able to get more pictures of her. The other cats were very sleepy. I may go back to the zoo Thursday if I can get a motorized wheelchair. Anyway it was nice to make it to the zoo on Sunday.
P.S. I'm so sorry if I miss your beautiful photos but since I can't sit very long at the computer it is impossible. I hope you all understand. I hate not being able to be on Flickr long. True Flickr addict! Thanks again for all your support and well wishes.

"Pelican Profile - Wild White Wisps" by Patti Deters. An American White Pelican (Pelecanus erythrorhynchos) appears here with a wild, wind-swept crest that gives it the look of a wise, slightly eccentric philosopher of the wetlands. The fine, hair-like feathers, known as nuptial plumes, are a distinct feature of the breeding season, signaling maturity and readiness to find a mate. While most of the water bird's feathers are sleek for aerodynamics and water resistance, these tufts catch the coastal breeze, giving the bird a rugged, almost regal personality. In the avian world, this disheveled plumage is actually a high-fashion statement used to impress other pelicans! This particular bird was seen at the Leonabelle Turnbull Birding Center in Port Aransas, Texas, USA which is near Mustang Island State Park and is on the Great Texas Birding Trail. [ÈNG] Doñana's National park (Spain), beach ecosystem, Doñana's National Park includes five different ecosystems: Beaches, Dunes, Border, Marsh and Forest. The beach is one of the wider virgin coasts of Europe, with about 35km between the town of Matalascañas (Huelva) and the mouth of the Guadalquivir river. The beaches of Doñana represent an intense dynamism and change their profile constantly due to the sea regressions through the centuries. Southwestern winds cause the continuous transport of sands over the beaches of the National Park, moved afterwards to the inside forming the trains of mobile dunes. On the beach, shelter of thousands of coastal birds, the remains of marine species such as crustaceans and fish accumulate, and often it is possible to find cetaceans and marine turtles.
