Bi-annually, 21st Century CLC puts on an all day professional development for it's support staff, teachers, and advocates. Here are the photos from our most recent one.
600 educators and teaching artists prepared for another year of Summer Arts for Learning Academy (SALA) at Henderson-Hopkins, and in Arts for Learning fashion, we started with the art! Award-winning spoken word poet Victor Rodgers, also known as Slangston Hughes, shared his work with our summer staff before joining them for professional development sessions. Rodgers will be a teaching artist with SALA this summer!
