I was in the middle of packing books, and thought "what a great record of what we've been thinking about in the last year and a half." So I spent a ridiculous amount of time arranging books for the photo instead of packing. This is what happens when my studio is all in boxes.

Tonight I had dinner with some of my "imaginery" internet friends. When I mentioned how much I missed the Procrastinators Anonymous discussion (I gave up the message board for Lent) and displayed my pathetic handwritten list, they took pity on me.
I am writing a paper that was supposed to compare rural and urban images of the Virgin Mary in New Spain. Oops, not much to say on that topic. Which means I am writing a paper on "Huh, isn't it odd that there are no differences between rural and urban images of the Virgin Mary in New Spain?!?"
I want to call it "I Saw You in a Churro: Marian Apparitions in Colonial Mexico" *
