This is definitely not a good thing, procrastinating by taking a picture of my procrastinated homework. I don't even how my phone got there.

Procrastination is the thief of time. So are a lot of other big words.

it's cold outside. what better way to procrastinate than to take photos of yourself before you have to bundle up.

couldnt think of anything too exciting for the video so just went for the idea of procrastination due to the fact that students are probably the best at it.

can't focus, paper due tuesday.

I'm out of MOO cards and need to order more.

This was an epic project. I bought a pound and a half of a gorgeous silk/merino blend from Shuttles and then dyed all of it myself using all the blues in my dye box. While taking my spinning wheel 101 class with Maggie Casey, we took home spinning wheels each week to try out. One week, I spun all of this during my evenings into a worsted/dk-ish single ply. I immediately made this sweater, but had phobias with the zipper (mainly because of my fubar attempt at a zipper once) …

SO THIS SAT IN MY WIP PILE FOR THREE YEARS.

Is there no greater procrastination than that, I ask you?

I finally got tired of seeing it, and finally sewed it in. The Chic Knits method didn’t work so much for me (the basting the zipper from the back), so I ended up using the Kristin Nicholas method, but instead of hand-sewing the zipper in, I did use my machine. I essentially pinned the heck out of it, then very, very carefully machine sewed it in.

Phew … that was anticlimactic.

CreativeMornings/Islamabad had an amazing session this month with Sana Khalid as our speaker.

The event was globally sponsored by Mailchimp and WordPress.

Taken at The Puyallup Fair

this is what happens when a reporter doesn't want to write about 'the future of tv.'

I should be studying for finals but what do I do instead? Pull out my camera, of course.

Quilt I made for my eldest. Designed by me too. Took ages hence the name.

Cosplayer Jamie Cardenas works on his costume for Ike from the Fire Emblem video game series, just hours before leaving for the convention he plans on debuting it for.

So this is what happens when you tell your child lets go bye bye... then stall for 10 minutes. She was ready to go, I wasn's. Boy when she wants to go she lets me know.

I have too much time on my hands, it seems.

I found it funny that I had to qualify my own note or else I would just perpetually put of vacuuming until 'tomorrow.'

Speaking of, I should probably get on this.

School's a killer this year, and it's not even the worst trimester yet. My time management is in the suck category and I'm way too lazy. Things are starting to snowball and I should be doing AP Euro homework, but look, I made a flickr account :D

Hopefully I'll keep this one.
