At the heart of every computer is the processor. This is a Pentium III 1 GHz Socket 370 CPU in an HP Vectra VL400 from 2000.
I discovered this when I accidentally removed the heatsink...
Before I get into the item description let me set the stage...
In the mid-1990's Apple fans were Steve Jobs-less. Lacking their creative energy guru Apple cranked out poorly designed computers that earned the nickname "pizzabox." But Steve came back from the wilderness and cast out the heretics.
In 2004 the Apple world was rocked to the core (pun intentional) with the P-P-P-Powerbook scandel (google it). The Apple world has not recovered from laughing so hard since.
For near a decade Apple fans have been high and mighty. Long forgotten are the days of fickle extension managers, sketchy PC compatibility, endless streams of free AOL discs, proprietary hardware, and Pizzabox Macs. Apple fans have since grown fat at Job's utters of awesomeness. But now, in Job's leave of health-related absence, it is time to remind my fellow Apple fans of what darkness lies ahead should he permanently shed his mortal coil. (Side note: His immortal coil is that getup consisting of a black mock turtle-neck and jeans.)

RARE Apple Prototype
Pizzamac LC
(16 inch Model)
This rare one-of-a-kind mint pristine prototype has everything a Macintosh should probably have. Its got all the ports and stuff. I opened the lid and the chips were all in there. I couldn't figure out what some of them are, but they taste of processed cheddar cheese. The original little white pizza-standy-thing is also included. I'll tape everything down before I ship it out.
On the top it says "In Pizza We Trust." Clearly the designer of this rare Mac has forsaken the almighty Jobs. I bet (s)he was cast out when Jobs returned.
The keyboard is stained a deep shade of jaundice yellow. This thing smells absolutely rancid. I think it may be because of all the grease. The original owner died of flagrant obesity without a permit. Anyway it has all the buttons you need to place an order at your local pizzadrome of choice. Of particular note is the "favor" payment option.
The mouse has been castrated to control ADB Mouse populations.
One final warning before getting into the nitty-gritty transaction details. This thing was never approved by the FCC and gives off copious amounts of radiation. I've been sterile since 1998 because of this machine, yet my fiance has had two kids. I recommend finding a heavy lead apron to wear when using this computer.
If you have any questions feel free to ask. Bid before James does. That guy will buy anything with an Apple logo hastily slapped on it. Then again, if you are trolling the Vintage Apple Computers category of eBay, in all probability you will too.

This is were the nastiness happened. The birds were captured as they came out of the hen house in the morning and placed into the animal carrier. Then one at a time they made there way to the cone attached to the log on the bucking horse. The bucket is to ketch the drippings and not make a huge mess on the ground.
Hints here:
1) 2 cones will reduce the time standing around. One person at this end could process enough birds to keep the dressing table running 2 operators if there were 2 cones.
2) The bucket needs water in the bottom of it when you start. It makes cleanup easier.
If interested the cone is made form a 5 gallon bucket there are a number of videos on youtube that show how to do it. I watched 10 or so before I cut a bucket. I cannot clam any new thoughts here I stole it all.
Back story:
Over the Christmas holiday / vacation season (2019) my wife and I for the first time butchered chickens (roosters actually). We had 21 birds we took all but one of the roosters and converted them to food. We are now down to 9 birds total. These pictures show the station we set up and used to do this. Only one picture shows my wife with a bird that looks like it came from the store so I do not think there is anything questionable here. Some of the birds went into the freezer as whole birds but about half went to the caner. She made shredder chicken.
My wife then baked the bones and boiled them for broth. The bones and other solids were strained form this dark chicken broth. The broth went into jars and was canned for later use. The bones and other solids filled 2 Walmart bags. I took these bags and dumped them into the charcoal refractory I made over the summer from a paint can. This got popped into the wood burner. After a few minutes sitting in the already hot coals steam started coming out then other gasses which flared and burn as in the Video in my photo stream. Once that stopped I had charcoal.
The Charcoal will go back tot he Chicken Coop to absorb the life from the Chicken coop floor as they move and live over it (ok poop on it mostly). It will then be returned to the soil to enrich next years fruits and vegetables.
These Roosters in exchange for the food we gave them gave us.
-Compost they processed (See Edible Acres videos on youtube link in my video description)
-Meat
-Broth
-Heat (while the gasses were burning off)
-BioChar that will lead to better food from next year until we garden no more
- The feet still need processed for the goodness they still hold
We only discarded the heads and internal organs (not in our diet)
The tissue processor is an automated machine that progressively dehydrates tissue and impregnates it with molten paraffin. This procedure usually runs overnight, although small biopsies can be processed in a few hours.
If you get sick of all my faux cross-processing, you're going to get really sick of my new love of textures.

Coal Mine Canyon, Arizona
This image goes with the others being posted to a new set for this canyon in northeast Arizona. I've been researching the geology of this canyon and have been finding interesting information about mapping the geology here. In this image is seen: Entrada Formation, Dakota Sandstone, shale (colored bright red by the burning of layers of coal in some lower areas of the strata) and sedimentary rock from millions of years ago.

although the processing room at the post office in gary, indiana has been stripped of almost all of its equipment, nature continues to thrive regardless of its surroundings. this 12ft tall tree popped up through the wooden blocks (they are not bricks, but wood blocks to support the heavey machinery) along side other plants to give a little life to this abandonded facility.
