Breast Augmentation Orange County l Newport Beach Plastic Surgeon
Orange County breast augmentation specialist (949)347-5717, Newport Beach board certified plastic surgeon Dr. Tenley Lawton performing breast lifts, reconstruction, reduction, mommy makeovers as well as facial and body contouring procedures.
Dr. Tenley Lawton brings knowledge, compassion and personalized care to each and every procedure. She has become recognized by her patients for her abilities to provide natural-looking results. Patients never appear over-done or over-processed, but merely refreshed, enhanced and rejuvenated. A mother of two young children, Dr. Lawton offers a unique feminine approach, making patients feel protected, safe and assured they will receive ideal results.
Dr. Lawton has been an active speaker locally as well as nationally, sharing her expertise in many areas of plastic and reconstructive surgery. In spite of her busy schedule, she continues to attend many local and national meetings in order to stay on the cutting edge of cosmetic surgery in Newport Beach as well as reconstructive surgery. And, of course remains a dedicated wife and soccer mom to her daughter and son.
If you feel your breasts are too small, or if your breasts have lost volume, either from pregnancy, weight loss, or aging, breast augmentation can correct these issues. In addition, Dr. Lawton performs augmentations to balance asymmetric breasts (breasts that are uneven or different sizes) and as a reconstructive technique following surgery for breast cancer.
During breast augmentation, board certified plastic surgeon Dr. Lawton inserts implants through an incision she will make, typically either just above the breast crease, around the pigmented skin surrounding the nipple, or in the armpit—and placed into a "pocket" created by the surgeon behind the breast tissue or the chest muscle. Breast augmentation is used to add volume to small or underdeveloped breasts, or to restore volume lost as a result of weight loss, childbirth, or aging.
Breast augmentation can be performed on patients at any age after the breasts are fully developed, but there are regulatory restrictions on the use of breast implants in women younger than 18. There is no scientific evidence that breast augmentation increases the risk of breast cancer, autoimmune disease or any systemic illness, nor is there evidence that breast implants affect pregnancy or the ability to breast feed. In addition to the positive aesthetic outcomes of breast augmentation, data have shown that many patients enjoy substantial psychological benefits, including enhanced self-esteem.
It is helpful to review pictures of different breasts to determine the size and look that you desire. When you come in for your initial consultation with Dr. Lawton in her Newport Beach plastic surgery office, bring the pictures in to review and Dr. Lawton will determine if that look is attainable with your natural breast shape and explain how it will look. In addition to reviewing the different types of implants, she will also assist you in determining the size you choose by providing you with breast implant sizers. You should anticipate that your breasts will look and feel fuller, firmer, and perkier.
Dr. Lawton specializes in all types of breast procedures such as, breast augmentation, breast lifts (mastopexy), breast reconstruction, breast reduction and mommy makeovers.

Pelvic floor repair surgery is the most common surgery for pelvic organ prolapse. Pelvic floor repair is a broad term used to classify a variety of simple, surgical procedures for repairing the pelvic floor. The three surgeries for pelvic floor prolapse include: anterior repair, posterior repair, and a hysterectomy.
Although Restore Your Core does not provide any surgical treatment for pelvic floor issues, my hope is that this article may answer any questions you may have regarding pelvic floor repair and the various procedures and treatments involved in getting you back to a healthy, active lifestyle.
What are the Symptoms of Pelvic Organ Prolapse?
Prolapse can affect several abdominal organs. These organs are said to prolapse if they descend into or out of the vaginal canal or anus. The medical terminology for these occurrences include:
Cystocele: prolapse of the bladder into the vagina, the most common condition
Urethrocele: prolapse of the urethra (the tube that carries urine)
Uterine prolapse
Vaginal vault prolapse: prolapse of the vagina
Enterocele: Small bowel prolapse
Rectocele: Rectum prolapse
What Causes Pelvic Organ Prolapse?
There are many factors that are thought to cause a prolapse. In most cases, anything that may apply or put increased pressure in the abdomen can lead to a pelvic organ prolapse. Some of the common causes may include:
Pregnancy, labor, and childbirth are the most common causes
Obesity
Connective tissue disorders
Respiratory problems with a chronic, long-term cough
Constipation
Genetic factors
Pelvic organ cancers
Surgical removal of the uterus (hysterectomy)
Diastasis recti (weakened core, connective tissues)

Symptoms
The symptoms of a prolapse somewhat depend on which organ has descended. If you are suffering from a bladder prolapse, urinary incontinence may occur. If it is a rectal prolapse, constipation, painful bowel movements, and painful sex often occur. Lower back pain, painful sex, and bowel obstruction or incontinence tend to accompany a small intestine prolapse as well. If you are suffering from a prolapse of the uterus, you may also suffer from uncomfortable intercourse, incontinence, and lower back pain.
In some cases, there may never be signs of a prolapse or the presence of any painful symptoms. However, in others some women report symptoms ranging from:
Pressure or sense of fullness in the pelvic area
Lower back pain
Painful sex
Sensation of something falling out of the vagina
Urinary incontinence or frequent urination
Constipation
Spotting or bleeding from the vagina
In cases where there may be a severe prolapse, POP symptoms may worsen. One may notice:
Bulging of the vaginal region
Needing manual assistance during a bowel movement
Difficulty urinating, spraying stream of urine
The need to lift the bulging vagina in order to urinate
Urinary leakage during intercourse
Recurrent UTIs or kidney infections
How long does a pelvic floor repair operation take?
The length of the surgical procedure can vary greatly from patient to patient. The general estimate for the surgery ranges from around 3-5 hours, but may have a shorter or longer duration depending on various factors. Some of the elements that may determine the length of the operation can include:
Internal anatomy
Shape of the pelvis
Weight
Internal scarring or inflammation
Prior abdominal/pelvic floor surgery
Does Surgery Really Work?
Surgery to fix a uterine prolapse are usually successful. In most patients the surgeries for POP have been reported to have an 80% – 95% success rate.
The success rate for sacrospinous ligament fixation (surgery to correct the bulging of the vagina) ranges between 80% – 90%, for uterosacral ligament suspension (surgery restoring support to the top of the vagina) is also 80%-90% successful, and sacrocolpopexy (surgery fixing the vaginal vault and the cervix) and sacrohysteropexy (fixing the prolapse of the uterus) have also shown the same success rate.
However, even after prolapse surgery, there is still a chance that another part of the vagina or uterus may prolapse.
What Can I Expect After POP Surgery?
These are the general guidelines that doctors will usually give post POP OP (this is not medical advice): Each day in recovery you can expect to begin to feel stronger. During your recovery, you may need to remain on pain medication for about a week or two and may experience fatigue and weakness. A typical recovery time line varies from 4 to 6 weeks until you recover from an open surgery and anywhere from 1 to 2 weeks to recover from vaginal surgery. Your doctor should give you more specific guidelines.
During your recovery period, you should avoid any sexual activity, vigorous exercise, heavy lifting, or any activities that may put pressure or strain your operation area. Your doctor should give you more specific guidelines. The most important aspect to your quick recovery is rest – getting enough sleep will help you recover.
During your recovery, you might experience vaginal discharge or light bleeding. If so, avoid using tampons or douche. Use a sanitary pad if necessary. Your doctor should give you more specific guidelines.
How long do you stay in the hospital after prolapse surgery?
After your prolapse surgery, it is likely that you will need to remain hospitalized for 2 – 3 days depending on the operation and any underlying medical conditions you have. During this time your medical care takers will help ensure your recovery by monitoring for any potential complications and providing clean, sanitized treatment of the operation site.
Are There Complications with Prolapse Surgery?
Although pelvic surgery has proven to be a very safe procedure, as with any surgery, there are a few risks and potential complications that can arise. Please discuss this with your doctor but the common ones include:
Bleeding
Infection
Tissue or organ injury
Hernia
Conversion to open surgery
Urinary incontinence
Urinary retention
Vesicovaginal fistula (rare, abnormal connection between vagina and bladder)
If you are experiencing any of these symptoms of complications, it is important that you seek medical assistance. In some cases these symptoms can be common and unserious, but it is always best to consult your doctor if you have any concerns.
Can pelvic floor muscles be repaired?
If you have experienced a prolapse, uterine or otherwise, it can be a shocking and painful experience. However, there are ways to decrease symptoms without surgery.
Nonsurgical Treatments
There are several ways in which to treat a uterine or vaginal prolapse. The three most common approaches are pessary, restorative exercises, and biofeedback therapy.
Pessary
A pessary is probably one of the first treatments your doctor will recommend if you have symptoms of POP. A pessary is a ring shaped device that is inserted into your vagina. This will help support your pelvic organs. Being fitted for a pessary is a lot like being fitted for a diaphragm. Many of my clients with severe POP find that a pessary is useful for allowing them to live fuller lives while they slowly use PT and exercise to help resolve the prolapse.
Restorative Exercises & Physical Therapy
Pelvic floor exercises help strengthen your pelvic muscles. Although the most common exercise recommended by health professionals today is the kegel exercise, there are many more exercises that you can do that are helpful for restoring PF function and giving support for your pelvic organs. Kegels are a pretty outdated model of care when used alone, without a more whole body approach to healing.
What is involved in pelvic floor reconstruction?
Pelvic floor reconstruction surgery is a group of procedures that are performed to treat prolapse of uterus, rectum, small intestines, or other pelvic organs.
Anterior Vaginal Repair
Anterior repair is a surgical procedure that seeks to reinforce weakened layers between the bladder and the vagina. This surgery helps relieve symptoms such as vaginal bulging and to improve bladder function.
The surgery can be performed under general anaesthetic. The most common method of anterior repair is by an incision made along the centre of the front wall of the vagina – starting at the entrance and ending at the top of the vagina. The weakened layers are then repaired and anu superfluous tissue is removed. This is typically done with absorbable stitches.
Posterior Vaginal Repair
A back wall (posterior) vaginal prolapse is usually caused by weakness in the tissues and muscles that divide the vagina from the lower part of the bowel. This surgical procedure is performed to order to repair or restore the weakened layers between the rectum and the vagina.
As with an anterior vaginal repair surgery, posterior repair surgery is usually performed under general anesthetic. The procedure involves a minor incision being made along the back wall of the vagina starting at the entrance and finishing near the top. The weakened layers are then repaired using absorbable stitches.
Vaginal Hysterectomy
A vaginal hysterectomy is typically performed with a prolapsed uterus. This is when the uterus (womb) descends into the vagina and in some severe cases, protrudes or extends outside of the vaginal canal. The surgery is performed by removing the uterus through the vagina.
A vaginal hysterectomy is performed under general or spinal anaesthetic. In order to remove the uterus, the surgeon will make an incision at the top of the vagina around the cervix, clears the bowel and bladder from the uterus, and cuts through the connecting tissues to remove the uterus. The surgeon will then close the vaginal vault and commonly adds additional supporting stitches as the surgery is being performed.

Does Physical Therapy Help Post-Surgery?
If you are meeting with a physical / occupational therapist or taking part in a rehabilitation program Restore Your Core, post-surgery, some of the common exercises and techniques consist of:
and techniques consist of:
Posture:
Spine, pelvis, and hip alignment is necessary for a sustained recovery. Being mindful of good posture will help relieve any additional strain or pressure you apply to your pelvic region.
Restful Poses:
These poses are positions which utilize gravity to encourage the pelvic organs to be “repositioned” back into the pelvic cavity.
Lower abdominal Exercises:
This involves contracting the lower abdominal muscles while practicing dynamic and static exercises. If done correctly, it can limit the stress placed on the interior organs during activities which increase intra-abdominal pressure (i.e. squats).
PFM Strengthening:
PFM strengthening exercises are a great way to help get your body back to its normal function and to heal from POP surgery. I advise getting instruction from a pelvic floor specialist who is trained in assessing the whole person to determine the appropriate exercise routines for you.
In my program, Restore Your Core, I cover many helpful exercises and routines that can help heal POP and any abdominal or core issues. To learn more about restorative exercises for uterine prolapse or other abdominal issues, consider checking out one of my previous blog posts on core workouts and exercises.

Ensure a clean and healthy household involves a series of gruesome works, which include carpet cleanings. A carpet can be full of insecticides and dust is damaged beyond the common understanding. But this has become essential for people to find the requirements to keep the rugs clean at home. Otherwise dangers surpass the usability and effectiveness of the product. Professional and the chemical industry have worked to produce and bring to market technology that can create carpet cleaning very easy and efficient.
A carpet of good relations with the attributes of value in having a long life and better looking, comfortable and soft to the touch may be first judge by the manufacturer. The manufacturer and the label can find the points related to the proper maintenance of your carpet. It is also difficult to understand the decision. The small soft carpet, technically known as carpets are soft and delicate fiber which requires experience at a level rarely denoted. These carpets require special cleaning and care, which is a complicated issue. This is because soft tissues are delicate that the unity of the friction and brushing can destroy the quality. There is a small community clean unofficial figures are based on various and information on green carpet cleaning is common. The Most extravagant way to eliminate the risk of spreading is to keep the carpet clean.
Then here is the question of to what extent the application of chemicals or detergents. To manage this complexity, it is one of best to initiate with a sensible amount. Rub, not too hard on the segment or the stain that was mounted on the dust, while the cleaner has been used. If the test does not like to wash, try more detergent. It is effective to avoid large amounts of chemical agents and washing, for example, maintain security in color and tissue damage.
Use lemon juice or non-chlorine bleach and salt for carpets with black shades, which can help you to remove stains and discoloration stuffier as intact, without damaging any thing. For the dry cleaning, it is vital to keep in mind that, carpet should leave in sun-dried or dry dried.
Also, how the vacuum is used, it also adds a great help in managing the carpet cleaning. It is instructed that the vacuum should be permitted to move in the ruins of carpets from all directions. It would collect dust and undesirable elements, and leave the carpet cleaner.
The Facility of the Carpet Cleaners
It’s 'no doubt. Sooner or later, a new carpet is new. Despite the drastic conversion of poor fresh and sassy as soon as he basked in the new carpet was installed, the layout can be a fashion too immediately if you stay on top of dirt. Admittedly, you can hire a car to take this task alone. But like a good idea to take the carper cleaners? This is a proper way to saving the money? We change the probability of happy outcome to your advantage. If not, vacuum once again. This is the initial thing to do. It applies if you take on the work yourself or hire the carpet cleaners. This reduces the dirty things when the process of carpet cleaning has been processed. Your machine comes with instructions for hire. There is a reason. You
want to ensure you understand how the machine works. The carpet is too cold to ruin when trying to save the money.
So much of a good thing may be bad. This is great moment while it comes to shampoo the carpet. Use the amount is not more, dilute with the water to the level expected less. Since any residue of shampoo remaining dirt to attract only the "clean" the carpet. That defeats the aim here is not it? Cleaning in an edge will leave walking on the carpet you have cleaned. This is not the concept. So make a plan of your approach as a path of escape that does not walk on the carpet freshly washed.
It is easy to create a big fault while carpet cleaning by self. This is not to be sincere with the amount of water you use on your carpet. Over-wet the carpet cleaners are a general mistake amateurs make carpet. Someone, who can make it harder to dry your carpets at the end, and the largest that takes a greater risk of mold set in. The fans are useful for ventilation of spaces where you are cleaning the carpet. If you can open the windows, mass air flow will only promote faster drying. For sure stay away from the carpet when it is wet. So wait, till it is completely dry before moving furniture into space. When the carpet will dries take a gap again and use it throughout the area just cleaned. This is to absorb the dirt, the carpet back evil that is due to dehydration. Repeat after me, not wetting the carpet. Avoid this mistake is the benefit of good result here.

Cenotaph for the A-bomb Victims
The Construction of the Cenotaph for the A-bomb Victims(Official name: Memorial Monument for Hiroshima, City of Peace, also known as the A-bomb Cenotaph)began in 1950 and on August 6 of the next year, 1952, the unveiling ceremony took place. It contains a stone chest housing a register of those known to have died of exposure to the A-bombing. Through application procedures by the relatives of the deceased, names of victims who die are added to a registr. In this register are listed Japanese people as well as the namea of non-Japanese, and as of August 6, 1995,65 volumes of the register contained the names of 192,020 people.
Since the former arch-shaped cenotaph made of reinforced concrete had deteriorated badly after 32 years of its construction, remodeling of the cenotaph started in June 1984, and the present cenotaph was conpleted on March 26, 1985. "Inada Stone," a kind of granite ,was used in rebilding the cenotaph. The new cenotaph was constructed in the same size and shape as the original onew which Mr.Tange had designed . Placed under the cenotaph are the original stone plate on which an inscription is carved, and the original stone chest in which the register of the names of those who died is stored. An underground storage for the register was newly built since there will be more names added to the register in the future.
Original of the lnscription
The Cenotaph for the A-bomb Victims, in the shape of a clay figure of an ancient house, was designed to house the souls of those who perished due to the atomic bomb. The register of the names of those who died is placed in it. The front of the stone coffin reads, "Let all souis here rest in peace; For we shall not repeat the evil."
Mayor Hamai commented on the inscription by saying, "Every shared the desire to pray for the peace of the dead, howeve it was difficult to formulate this into a pledge for peace" After racking his brains, Mayor Hamaqi asked Chimata Fujimoto, his chief secretary, if he had any ideas for an inscription. He thought of his respedted teacher, Prof. Tadayoshi Saika of Hiroshima University, an authority classical inscriptions. Fujimoto visited him immediatelty in the archery hall where he was living at the time because his residence had been heavily damaged by the bomb. The entrance had a dirt floor and was followed by a low room piled full of books. There was a small desk, but almost no room to move.
Explaining Mayor Hamai's ideas, Fujimoto talked with him for about tow hours. The next day Prof. Saika visired Hamai tto shoe him a braft he had written. His draft read, "Rest in peace; for we shall not repeat the evil." The words were perfect for expressing what ws on his heart. The Mayor decided to adopt Prof. Saika's draft on the spot and askeed him to do the handwriting which would be engraved on the monument.
When Prof. Saika finished writing, Mayor Hamai could not hide his delight. He took it to the city press club to show it to the reporters. They responded with applause. There was not doubt that the atomic bomb victims were not merely the representatives of one nation or one race, bbut of the whole world, and they should be recognized as a foundation for peace for all human beings. All people on earth should bmake this pledge for a peace without nuclear weapons. However, when the inscriotion was completed, many people did not understand Mayor Hamai's intention. There were arguments for and against it.
Dr.R.B.Pal, a delegate from India to the World Federation Asian Conference held at Honkawa Elementary School in November 1952, visited and prayed before the cenotaph. He said in real anger, "It is apparent that the "we" in the inscription " For we shall not repeat the evil" means Japan. What is this evil? The cenotaph is dedicated to the souls of the atomic bomb victims Everyone knows that it was not the Japanese who dropped the atomic bomb. The hands of those who dropped it are not responsible for that. That war was a result of the Western powers invasion of the Orient." In the Tokyo War Crimes Traials. Dr.Pal maintained to the end that Tojo and the others were innocent. There were many who expressed agreement with his words.
For an English translation of this inscription, Prof. Saika sent it to his eldest son who was studying at the University of Illinois. He finally settled on the following translation. "Let all the souls here rest in peace; For we shall not repeat the evil. "The subject of the sentence is very clear. It is "we" who prostrate ourselves before the cenotaph. All of us who are human beings need to make this pledge. This is a beautiful statement from one who has directly confronted the tragedy of the atomic bomb.
Prof. Saika contributed on article to the city bulletin describing what he meant. "The worst evil committed in the twentieth century is the dropping of the atomic bomb on the city of Hiroshima, but the citizens of Hiroshima are not brooding on the past, but seeking for light for the future, attempting to do what has not yet been done. It is the privilege of Hiroshima and Nagasaki to resolve that we shall not repeat this evil. (omission) If the efforts of Hiroshima brighten the future for all fuman beings, then the sacrifice made by the victims has not been in vain. "Form this it is clear that the inscription concerns the past, the present and the future of the human race, not of a particular individual.
To accurately communicate the purpose of the message engtraved on the cenotaph, the city of Hiroshima, on November 3, 1983, placed two panels, one in Japanese and the other in English, at the left of the cenotaph, The panels appear to float on the surface of the peace pond which lies around the cenotaph. The English inscription is as follows:
MEMORIAL MONUMENT FOR HIEOSHIMA, CITY OF PEACE
(CENOTAPH FOR THE A-BOMB VICTIMS)
Erected 6 August 1952
This monument was erected in the hope that Hiroshima, devastated by the world's first atomic bomb on 6 August 1945, would be rebuilt as a city peace.
The epitaph reads, "Let all the souls here rest in peace; For we shall net repeat the evil." It summons people everywhere to pray for the repose of the souls of the deceased A-bomb victims and to join in the pledge never to repeat the evil of war. It thus expresses the "Heart of Hiroshima" which, enduring past grief and overcoming hatred, yearns for the realization of true world peace with the coexistence and prosperity of all humankind.
This monument is also called the "A-bomb Cenotaph" for the stone chest in the center cintains the register of deceased A-bomb victims.

Vienna Regional Court for Criminal Matters
The Vienna Regional Court for Criminal Matters (colloquially referred to as "landl" (Landesgericht)) is one of 20 regional courts in Austria and the largest court in Austria. It is located in the 8th District of Vienna, Josefstadt, at the Landesgerichtsstraße 11. It is a court of first respectively second instance. A prisoners house, the prison Josefstadt, popularly often known as the "Grey House" is connected.
Court Organization
In this complex there are:
the Regional Court for Criminal Matters Vienna,
the Vienna District Attorney (current senior prosecutor Maria-Luise Nittel)
the Jurists association-trainee lawer union (Konzipientenverband) and
the largest in Austria existing court house jail, the Vienna Josefstadt prison.
The Regional Criminal Court has jurisdiction in the first instance for crimes and offenses that are not pertain before the district court. Depending on the severity of the crime, there is a different procedure. Either decides
a single judge,
a senate of lay assessors
or the jury court.
In the second instance, the District Court proceeds appeals and complaints against judgments of district courts. A three-judge Court decides here whether the judgment is canceled or not and, if necessary, it establishes a new sentence.
The current President Friedrich Forsthuber is supported by two Vice Presidents - Henriette Braitenberg-Zennenberg and Eve Brachtel.
In September 2012, the following data have been published
Austria's largest court

over 7400 procedures at the trial judges (30 % of the total Austrian juridical load of work)
Prosecution with 93 prosecutors and 250 employees
19,000 cases against 37,000 offenders (2011 )
Josefstadt prison with 1,200 inmates (overcrowded)
History
1839-1918
The original building of the Vienna Court House, the so-called civil Schranne (corn market), was from 1440 to 1839 located at the Hoher Markt 5. In 1773 the Schrannenplatz was enlarged under Emperor Joseph II and the City Court and the Regional Court of the Viennese Magistrate in this house united. From this time it bore the designation "criminal court".
Due to shortcomings of the prison rooms in the Old Court on Hoher Markt was already at the beginning of the 19th Century talk of building a new crime courthouse, but this had to be postponed because of bankruptcy in 1811.
In 1816 the construction of the criminal court building was approved. Although in the first place there were voices against a construction outside the city, as building ground was chosen the area of the civil Schießstätte (shooting place) and the former St. Stephanus-Freithofes in then Alservorstadt (suburb); today, in this part Josefstadt. The plans of architect Johann Fischer were approved in 1831, and in 1832 was began with the construction, which was completed in 1839. On 14 May 1839 was held the first meeting of the Council.
Provincial Court at the Landesgerichtsstraße between November 1901 and 1906
Johann Fischer fell back in his plans to Tuscan early Renaissance palaces as the Pitti Palace or Palazzo Pandolfini in Florence. The building was erected on a 21,872 m² plot with a length of 223 meters. It had two respectively three floors (upper floors), the courtyard was divided into three wings, in which the prisoner's house stood. In addition, a special department for the prison hospital (Inquisitenspital ) and a chapel were built.
The Criminal Court of Vienna was from 1839 to 1850 a city court which is why the Vice Mayor of Vienna was president of the criminal courts in civil and criminal matters at the same time. In 1850 followed the abolition of municipal courts. The state administration took over the Criminal Court on 1 Juli 1850. From now on, it had the title "K.K. Country's criminal court in Vienna".
1851, juries were introduced. Those met in the large meeting hall, then as now, was on the second floor of the office wing. The room presented a double height space (two floors). 1890/1891 followed a horizontal subdivision. Initially, the building stood all alone there. Only with the 1858 in the wake of the demolition of the city walls started urban expansion it was surrounded by other buildings.
From 1870 to 1878, the Court experienced numerous conversions. Particular attention was paid to the tract that connects directly to the Alserstraße. On previously building ground a three-storey arrest tract and the Jury Court tract were built. New supervened the "Neutrakt", which presented a real extension and was built three respectively four storied. From 1873 on, executions were not executed publicly anymore but only in the prison house. The first execution took place on 16 December 1876 in the "Galgenhof" (gallow courtyard), the accused were hanged there on the Würgegalgen (choke gallow).
By 1900 the prisoners house was extended. In courtyard II of the prison house kitchen, laundry and workshop buildings and a bathing facility for the prisoners were created. 1906/1907 the office building was enlarged. The two-storied wing tract got a third and three-storied central section a fourth floor fitted.
1918-1938
In the early years of the First Republic took place changes of the court organization. Due to the poor economy and the rapid inflation, the number of cases and the number of inmates rose sharply. Therefore, it was in Vienna on 1 October 1920 established a second Provincial Court, the Regional Court of Criminal Matters II Vienna, as well as an Expositur of the prisoner house at Garnisongasse.
One of the most important trials of the interwar period was the shadow village-process (Schattendorfprozess - nomen est omen!), in which on 14th July 1927, the three defendants were acquitted. In January 1927 front fighters had shot into a meeting of the Social Democratic Party of Austria, killing two people. The outrage over the acquittal was great. At a mass demonstration in front of the Palace of Justice on 15th July 1927, which mainly took place in peaceful manner, invaded radical elements in the Palace of Justice and set fire ( Fire of the Palace Justice), after which the overstrained police preyed upon peaceful protesters fleeing from the scene and caused many deaths.
The 1933/1934 started corporate state dictatorship had led sensational processes against their opponents: examples are the National Socialists processes 1934 and the Socialists process in 1936 against 28 "illegal" socialists and two Communists, in which among others the later leaders Bruno Kreisky and Franz Jonas sat on the dock.
Also in 1934 in the wake of the February Fights and the July Coup a series of processes were carried out by summary courts and military courts. Several ended with death sentences that were carried out by hanging in "Galgenhof" of the district court .
1938-1945
The first measures the Nazis at the Regional Criminal Court after the "Anschluss" of Austria to the German Reich in 1938 had carried out, consisted of the erection of a monument to ten Nazis, during the processes of the events in July 1934 executed, and of the creation of an execution space (then space 47 C, today consecration space where 650 names of resistance fighters are shown) with a guillotine supplied from Berlin (then called device F, F (stands for Fallbeil) like guillotine).
During the period of National Socialism were in Vienna Regional Court of 6 December 1938 to 4th April 1945 1.184 persons executed. Of those, 537 were political death sentences against civilians, 67 beheadings of soldiers, 49 war-related offenses, 31 criminal cases. Among those executed were 93 women in all age groups, including a 16-year-old girl and a 72-year-old woman who had both been executed for political reasons.
On 30 June 1942 were beheaded ten railwaymen from Styria and Carinthia, who were active in the resistance. On 31 July 1943, 31 people were beheaded in an hour, a day later, 30. The bodies were later handed over to the Institute of Anatomy at the University of Vienna and remaining body parts buried later without a stir at Vienna's Central Cemetery in shaft graves. To thein the Nazi era executed, which were called "Justifizierte" , belonged the nun Maria Restituta Kafka and the theology student Hannsgeorg Heintschel-Heinegg.
The court at that time was directly subordinated to the Ministry of Justice in Berlin.
1945-present
The A-tract (Inquisitentrakt), which was destroyed during a bombing raid in 1944 was built in the Second Republic again. This was also necessary because of the prohibition law of 8 May 1945 and the Criminal Law of 26 June 1945 courts and prisons had to fight with an overcrowding of unprecedented proportions.
On 24 March 1950, the last execution took place in the Grey House. Women murderer Johann Trnka had two women attacked in his home and brutally murdered, he had to bow before this punishment. On 1 July 1950 the death penalty was abolished in the ordinary procedure by Parliament. Overall, occured in the Regionl Court of Criminal Matters 1248 executions. In 1967, the execution site was converted into a memorial.
In the early 1980s, the building complex was revitalized and expanded. The building in the Florianigasse 8, which previously had been renovated, served during this time as an emergency shelter for some of the departments. In 1994, the last reconstruction, actually the annex of the courtroom tract, was completed. In 2003, the Vienna Juvenile Court was dissolved as an independent court, iIts agendas were integrated in the country's criminal court.
Prominent processes since 1945, for example, the Krauland process in which a ÖVP (Österreichische Volkspartei - Austrian People's Party) minister was accused of offenses against properties, the affair of the former SPÖ (Sozialistische Partei Österreichs - Austrian Socialist Party) Minister and Trade Unions president Franz Olah, whose unauthorized financial assistance resulted in a newspaper establishment led to conviction, the murder affairs Sassak and the of the Lainzer nurses (as a matter of fact, auxiliary nurses), the consumption (Konsum - consumer cooporatives) process, concerning the responsibility of the consumer Manager for the bankruptcy of the company, the Lucona proceedings against Udo Proksch, a politically and socially very well- networked man, who was involved in an attempted insurance fraud, several people losing their lives, the trial of the Nazi Holocaust denier David Irving for Wiederbetätigung (re-engagement in National Socialist activities) and the BAWAG affair in which it comes to breaches of duty by bank managers and vanished money.

It's been nearly seven months since KVJ Show Kevin Rolston's FUE NeogGraft hair transplant at Bauman Medical Group with Dr. Alan Bauman. South Florida radio celeb who quickly became a social media sensation, his procedure was viewed by nearly 75,000 people online during the live surgery event.
But how's he doin' now? We compared some "before and after's" during this interim phase… and noted some serious hair growth. Kevin's procedure is not fully grown in--that would take about 12-14 months--but we can already see the fruits of the labor. His improved hairline in the frontal, temple areas and temporal points are re-framing his face with a more youthful, symmetrical appearance. He's also improved his so-called 'monkey butt'-shaped bald spot (aka his vertex / crown area). Compliance with LaserCap and Finasteride has been good.
Kevin's hair growth will continue to add coverage from improvements in length and caliber of the transplanted hair over the rest of the year and the transplanted hair will be permanent, forever. Because the technique was performed by the NeoGraft FUE process, there is no linear scar in the back of the scalp and, in fact, there is no detectable sign of the harvest in his donor area at all.
HairCheck measurements confirm that he is maintaining his non-transplanted hair very well and HairCam photos show very few signs of miniaturized hairs in the at-risk areas. See the accompanying photos of Kevin's 6-month post-op visit to Bauman Medical Group, and the staff oogling at his before and after photos!

Hawker Hunter XL565 is seen in the throes of its start up procedure, involving the use of explosive cordite charges to prime the Rolls-Royce Avon 122..
The use of cordite was a surprise to me, and provided a couple of shots with the dark smoke emanating from the engines.
The Hawker Hunter is a transonic jet fighter that was developed by Hawker Aircraft for the Royal Air Force during the late 1940s and early 1950s. It was designed to take advantage of the newly developed Rolls-Royce Avon turbojet engine and the swept wing, and was the first jet-powered aircraft produced by Hawker to be procured by the RAF. On 7 September 1953, the modified first prototype broke the world air speed record for aircraft, achieving a speed of 727.63 mph (1,171.01 km/h)
XL565 was built as the third production unit of type T.7 and first flew in February 1958.
XL565 was delivered to the RAF at Khomaksar, Aden to replace another Hunter lost in an accident. It was later transferred to RAF 208(F) Squadron in 1964.
It then spent time at RAF Valley and RAF Honington, until withdrawal from service in 1980, going into store at RAF Kemble.
Later on in the 1980's, it was transferred to the Royal Navy, and was sent to RAF St. Athan and was overhauled to flying condition. For a time it was based at FRADU - Yeovilton. It was then loaned to the Institute of Aviation Medicine at Farnborough.
It was eventually returned to the RAF, and remained in service at RAF Lossiemouth until 1991, when it was withdrawn for a second time, being stored at RAF Shawbury.
It was stored for just over two years and was then sold into private ownership. It was then subsequently resold three times and was based at several locations, finally ending up at Bruntingthorpe, where a replacement engine was sourced and fitted, with XL565 being brought back into operation for ground operation only in 2010.
A few quick stats on XL565:
Manufacturer: Hawker
Model:Hunter T.7
Year built: 1958
Construction Number (C/N):41H/693716
Number of Seats: 2
Number of Engines: 1
Engine Type: Turbojet
Engine Manufacturer and Model: Rolls-Royce Avon 122

A surgical procedure to disconnect the lower part of the small bowel from the bowel and pulling it through an incision in the abdominal wall is known as ileostomy surgery. There can be various reasons that your doctor may choose to give you an ileostomy. Those reasons mainly include ulcerative colitis, Crohn’s disease, cancer, and familial polyposis.
The main aim of an #ileostomy is to divert the passage of wastes away from the colon and towards an opening in the #abdomen. This opening is known as a stoma. The surgeon does it after removing or resting the diseased part of the bowel. It allows bodily wastes to leave the body through the stoma. This surgical procedure is generally a lifesaving operation.
Another type of #intestinal #ostomy is the #colostomy, which involves pulling out of a part of the colon. The surgeon, during colostomy surgery, dissects the colon to separate the healthy section of the colon from the diseased part. He then pulls the healthy end out of a cut in the abdomen to create a stoma after removing or resting the diseased section. The surgical technique to create an ileostomy is the same as that of a colostomy.
Ileostomy surgery
The surgeon puts the patient to sleep by administering general #anesthesia. The place of the stoma will depend on the site of the illness and the patient’s preferences or needs. The incision to start the procedure is usually 8 inches long down the midline on the patient’s abdomen. This incision dissects the abdominal skin, muscles, and subcutaneous tissues. The procedure may involve the removal of the #colon alongside or excluding the colon and rectum, depending on how much the disease has spread. The surgeon also closes the anal canal with the help of stitches.
An ileostomy can be temporary or permanent, based on the type or severity of the disorder. The two basic types of permanent ileostomy are a convention and continent ileostomy. The convention or Brooke ileostomy necessitates the patient to wear an ostomy bag the entire time. The stoma drains all the fecal materials into the ostomy bag. With this ileostomy, you are going to have no control over when you move your bowels, as a stoma doesn’t have any #sphincter #muscles. A continent ileostomy consists of an internal reservoir inside the abdomen. There will be a stoma on the belly, but it will not need an ostomy bag to cover it. You will be able to draw waste materials out of your internal pouch through a flexible catheter. The two types of continent ileostomy include a Kock pouch and BCIR.
Contrary you what you may have been thinking, an ileostomy gives you a chance to start a healthy and happy life after getting rid of the life-threatening condition. Some people acknowledge that their ileostomies have helped them to be even more active and healthier after the procedure because their quality of life was not that good before surgery due to illness. It all comes down to the mindset.
If you have a bowel condition so severe that your doctor recommends an ileostomy, be sure to discuss everything and clear your doubts instead of being stressed about the prospects of losing a body function.
In the field of hair transplantation, it is common to see patients who are left with troublesome scars from facelift, browlift or other cosmetic surgery procedures. At Bauman Medical Group, we see this type of scar in the temple areas from browlift procedures quite commonly. These scars may remain hidden for years until hereditary hair loss recedes the hairline and reduces the density. Notice the density in front of the plastic surgery scar is quite low and there is no hair growing through the scar. This kind of situation is easily remedied with a small hair transplant procedure and can be done with a no-scalpel, no-stitch NeoGraft FUE approach. For more information on camouflaging scar tissue with hair transplantation in men and women, visit www.baumanmedical.com

LASIK is a surgical procedure in which the cornea is reshaped so as to give clarity to vision and brings back the vision to normal so that you don't have to wear glasses or contact lens. The procedure is done with the excimer laser and it is a very safe procedure and does not weekend the cornea. The LASIK is mainly done for people who are above the age of 18 years and it helps to remove dependency on wearing glasses and contact lenses. It is a one-time procedure and it takes about 10 to 15 minutes to do the treatment and after the treatment the person has to rest about 3 to 4 hours after which vision get back to normal. The complete Restoration of vision is within 24-48 hours. This procedure is done both on males and as well as females above the age of 18 years and it is done so as to get rid of glasses and contact lenses. LASIK is done to remove the numbers of the glasses and it could either due to myopia that is minus numbers for plus number which is hyperopia and cylindrical number which is elastic matter. All the three conditions can be corrected with the Lasik procedure. How is Lasik is done I am going to explain briefly on the video here so the LASIK procedure is done on the front surface of the eye which is called the cornea in this procedure the cornea surface is treated with the excimer laser the curvature of the cornea is altered and flattened giving rise to the focusing of the light rays on the retina this helps to reduce the dependence on glasses and on Contact lenses and it eliminates both the condition the procedure is done in the laser room and The excimer laser is used. It is done just by putting eye drops anesthetic eyedrops the patient has to sit under the table of the laser machine and It is a fully computerized device. Where the eye is first properly focused on the laser machine Once the focusing is done, then the laser is applied on the front surface, which is the corneal surface. Once the corneal flap is made the laser is given in the inner layers of the cornea the amount of laser given depends upon the amount of Refractive error or the number here you can see that the excimer laser is given to reshape the corneal surface all this takes only few second and not more than 32 to 40 seconds the whole procedures complete the latest technology in laser surgery is blade free Lasik where we use femtosecond laser to make the corneal flap it is very precise and it goes in the inner layers of the cornea and separates the tissues without cutting them so it does not weaken the cornea and maintain the strength of the cornea. This is done with the femtosecond laser and Ojas Eye Hospital is proud to say that we are the first in western India to do this kind of treatment and offer blade free Lasik to all those spectacle wearers and contact lens user.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Dr. Niteen Dedhia performs a partial thickness corneal transplantation using a femtosecond laser. This patient was legally blind prior to surgery secondary to a corneal scar caused by herpes.
Loss of corneal transparency prevents the entry of light rays into the eye and diminishes vision. In cases of severe of damage, this can cause total loss of vision making the person visually handicapped. It is estimated that there are around two million people in India suffering from corneal blindness.
Of these, sixty percent of the cases include children under age twelve, who have suffered corneal damage due to accidents. There are other conditions also such as malnutrition, Vitamin A deficiency, infection, certain corneal diseases such as 'keratoconus' and 'corneal degeneration', which can cause corneal blindness.
What is 'Corneal Transplantation'?
Corneal transplantation / keratoplasty/ corneal grafting is the surgical procedure that restores sight in patients suffering from corneal blindness. In this surgical procedure , the diseased opaque cornea is replaced by a clear healthy donor corneal tissue which restores sight by allowing the light rays to enter the eye through transplanted clear cornea. This procedure of corneal grafting is possible only on the availability of donor cornea by process of eye donation. By donating eyes after death a human being can restore sight to a blind person. This gift of sight is invaluable for these visually handicapped persons.
