Today's image was taken late this afternoon in the heart of the Cathedral Quarter in the City Centre of Coventry. The view includes a few high profile listed buildings looking down Bayley Lane. On the left side of the image are part of the Ruins of the Grade I listed Old Cathedral of St Michael. On the right side of the image is a Grade II* listed Tudor cottage. Finally part way down the lane towards the centre of the picture is the Grade I listed St Mary's Guildhall. I took the original picture while waiting to pick my daughter up from her Choir service at the New Cathedral. This is one of my favourite views in the City Centre as it contains so much history.
The photo was taken using the app ProCamera on my iPhone 6.
First I used the app Snapseed to edit the photo. I cropped and straightened the image, then I applied both the Tonal Contrast and HDR Scape filters. I then add a little extra Saturation and Warmth to the picture. Next I used the app Mextures to add the
Wanderlust formula by Ana Gómez De León. I then used the app Brushstroke to add the Gloss G2 painterly preset. Finally I used the app PhotoToaster to add the Tone preset and a medium dark vignette. I then also added Canvas texture and the Leather frame.
