"Hi !
Congrats! The photo Midnight At The Oasis. ( Florintina 3) you added to the group Art Museion has been selected to be its cover photo.
See how it looks here."
The image today was taken late this evening in the Canley area of Coventry. The view is of a tree that was partially lit by a street lamp at the edge of Prior Deram park. It was almost hidden by the freezing fog that covered the whole area.
The photo was taken using the app ProCamera on my iPhone 6.
First I used the app Snapseed to edit the photo. I Cropped the image and applied the Tonal Contrast filter. I then boosted the Contrast, Saturation and Warmth. I also decreased the Highlights and Ambiance, then added a little extra Structure to the image. Next I used the app Mextures to apply the formula called Yellowish by Ruth Brotherton. Finally I used the app PhotoToaster to add the Backlit preset, the Vibrant FX and an Medium Dark Vignette. I then applied the Charcoal frame.
The image for today was taken late this afternoon at the Canal Basin in Coventry just as it was starting to get dark. The view is showing nice reflections of the Narrow Boat along with the bridge in the background with the warehouses on the right side of the image.

ProCamera, processed using iColorama, Procreate, Repix, Lenslight & Flowpaper.
This piece was inspired by the spontaneity and gestural action of abstract expressionism. I first turned the photo into a drawing in iColorama working on it further in Procreate where I applied areas of bright color. The image was then brought into Repix for much of the dripped & spattered brush effects. IColorama was then used to create a mixed up twirled effect for much of picture (Form>deform), the lettering & small flowers were then stamped on. Lastly I used Flowpaper for the white swirls & Lenslight for the bright round spots.
