Beginning of the long weekend brings a surge of Chinese to the local shops. This place was mental and we had to make this visit brief!
Their gig previous to this was Glastonbury. This time they were on the tiny Radio Ulster (Bandstand) stage at Stendhal.
They describe themselves as "four-piece feminist queer punk band from Belfast". Great fun, energy and they sound great too and are great at banter with the crowd. I was looking forward to them at Stendhal and they didnt dissapoint! I love them!
comprised of Beverley Boal, Bethany Crooks, Ciara King and Alanah Smith. All 4 take a turn at lead vocals which somehow adds to the feel that they are really enjoying themselves and getting on well together.

Problem: The sidewalk requires repair. The bus shelter is in the way.
Solution: Toss the bus shelter to one side and pour concrete. Leave shelter laying there because it's now somebody else's problem.
REPAIR: end of valley meets wall, roof cement & fabric corner area- not old but poor workmanship and many repairs unsuccessful and repaired same situation on other side of the house.

As a child, when so much of the television's content was inappropriate shoot-em-up westerns, there was conjecture about all the deadies falling down behind the picture tube and who cleaned them out. Clearly, it was someone's problem.
Airports bore me. They are full of nothing and too much at once. I might have been musing on today's absurd itinerary or how to get from the English Channel to the Atlantic Ocean by the longest route imaginable. Of course there were arguments contrived on a premise that with a land-based route we could pick up a couple of hitch hikers along the way, and passing through Plymouth and Saltash one might visit the Royal Albert Bridge across the Tamar to celebrate the engineering genius of Isambard Kingdom Brunel. That's when I saw this out of the corner of my eye.
Those ubiquitous arrival and departure screens in airports do not redraw themselves. Like the dead baddies in the TV scenario, someone, somewhere, has the problem of dealing with it. The SEP field — Someone Else's Problem — of Life, the Universe and Everything is a device which exploits the idea of something we can't see, or don't see, or our brain doesn't let us see, because we think that it's somebody else's problem. Looking straight at it, you can't see it. You might glance it out of the corner of your eye. Now I've finally caught the otherwise invisible in the act of rewriting one of those screens!
Our tour organiser has been staring straight at our itinerary for months and consequently couldn't see the unnecessary and wasteful bits of today's route. None of us could see, at least not yet, that a couple of hitch hikers could, among other things, be on the run from Macbeth. Nor did we see that there are other destinations, flying from Guernsey, which are not Southampton and more rational as a means to get to Cornwall and the Atlantic coast. In what seemed like no time at all the prophetic words of a coach driver — who put this itinerary together? — would take on all too much concrete meaning. They had a potential to annoy me and ruin a day I could never get back.
You'll recall I'd been in Plymouth quite recently — travelled there on Brunel's GWR. What you wouldn't know is that the bus which brought me back to Plymouth from Plympton, if I'd stayed on it, would have taken me over the Tamar for that highly desirable homage to the Royal Albert Bridge. I was told the tourist itinerary would take me to Saltash so I got off the bus.

Can anyone help with these color issues? I'm a new dSLR user and I'm having trouble with color on indoor colors.
This carpet is off-white. As you can see, it's yellow and there is a lot of yellow on the top of the dog's head. All of the other indoor photos had similar color issues. Thanks for any advice.
