Computer problems still. Well, we've got the computer back for the moment. They said they didn't know the exact cause of the problem but have cleaned up and run all the checks. They conclude it might have been a one off problem or the hard disc is coming to the end of its natural life. But Tom had difficulty in getting it turned on last night when he got it home. Came on eventually after many tries but the screen still has too much red highlighting showing through the black. I had to use the restart button to get it to go on this morning. We're now wondering if it needs a new screen. We've had computer and screen for 7 years and they are said to only last for 6-10 years. Anyway, I'll go on flickr today to catch up but probably stay off after that until things are sorted more.

This is not the picture of your van you want to see on your vacation. The front right tire began wobbling because of a separating belt. We stopped at a Walmart in Chattanooga. While there I noticed that my brand new tire on the driver rear side had a bubble so we replaced that one too.
So I took the advice of the guys in the forum and went home and took apart my kite.... and low and behold look what I found... if you look close you can even see where the glue is on the shaft.... no wonder it was turning left. The attachment point for the cross brace or spar was off by 5 inches or so.

Fixed hole in eaves –screwed a piece of aluminum flashing to soffit
4 popped up nails going through shingles sealed
Chimney on east side , leaking through flashing, sealed flashing
Lots of Wear and tear looks like 9-10 year old roof
Rest of roof there are signs premature failing due poor ventilation,
Vent pipe stack at valley looks like previous repair, best option is to move it a foot away from bottom of valley
