Mars 3 was an unmanned space probe of the Soviet Mars program which spanned the years between 1960 and 1973. Mars 3 was launched nine days after its twin spacecraft Mars 2. The probes were identical spacecraft, each consisting of an orbiter and an attached
lander. After Mars 2 crash-landed on the martian surface, Mars 3 lander became the first spacecraft to attain soft landing on Mars.
Mars 3's descent module was released at 09:14 UT on December 2, 1971, 4 hours 35 minutes before reaching Mars. The descent module entered the Martian atmosphere at roughly 5.7 km/s.
After 14.5 seconds, at 13:52:25, transmission on both data channels stopped for unknown reasons and no further signals were received at Earth from the Martian surface. It is not known whether the fault originated with the lander or the communications relay on
the orbiter. The cause of the failure may have been related to the extremely powerful martian dust storm taking place at the time which may have induced a coronal discharge, damaging the communications system.
On April 11, 2013, NASA announced that the Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter (MRO) may have imaged the Mars 3 lander "debris field" on the surface of Mars. The HiRISE camera on the MRO took images of what may be the parachute, retrorockets, heat shield and
lander. The Mars 3 debris were found by amateur space enthusiasts rummaging through publicly available archived images.

At the end of one wing of the NRC Convair-580, the probe at the front measures cloud extinction by bouncing a beam from the window at the side off of a facing 'retroflector' mounted on another instrument pylon at the middle of the wing. The probe at the back is a cloud, aerosol, and precipitation spectrometer (CAPS).

we're in our first planned hold for 30m as workers clear the pad. Fueling is complete & we're looking good!
MAS - Antwerp
The new "Museum Aan de Stroom" in Antwerp (Belgium) is a modern building whose design was inspired by the Storage Houses ‘Hanzehuis’ existing in the Antwerp harbor area until the 16th century.
Red stone tiles cover the whole surface of the building giving it a strong character and making it an eye catcher in the Antwerp panorama.
From outside the building reminds of a set of boxes stacked together one above the other creating a spiral tower with large expanses of glass.
In this photo a detail of the unique wavy glass walls reflecting the cloudy sky.
Climbing the stairs visitors have a constantly changing view of Antwerp: city, port and river in a single glance
NSSL Probe 4 sits east of Minco, OK on May 29, 2012, as an LP supercell approaches from the west. One storm on this day dropped hail up to the size of softballs in the OKC metro area. Probe 4 launched 3 radiosondes on this day as part of the DC3 experiment. Photo was taken on the way back to Norman.

The nurse is trying to get access to a window in the cast cut after surgery.
At least, it wasn't painful.

My husband and I like lots of games but Probe is one of our all time favorites. Its actually more of a card game than a board game. They don't even make this game anymore. If they did, it surely wouldn't be called "Probe" anymore.
For roulette and "board games".

Been looking for a reflective ball for capturing environment maps. I've tried a chrome ball garden ball and ball bearing but this Christmas decoration seems to be the most optically sound :S
Zvex Fuzz Probe, got my the Vexter series because I'm a raging hobo (and I couldn't find many in the UK... ooh also I wanted the LED to tell if it's turned on and the funny port for the PSA 230es adaptor).
Squeally squeals and such. Don't think I'm going to have any built in fuzz factory guitars... just doesn't make sense man... just doesn't make sense.
But yeah, can play Plug in baby and a host of other fuzz related tunes. Pick up a bag today
