Iron Pyrite deposits on the main probe of the Benthic and Resistivity Sensor, recovered from Endeavour ridge hydrothermal vent, June 2012. The probe was inserted into the plume of a black smoker, the precipitates are full of heavy metals. Here, the titanium probe attracted minerals to create a fine deposit of Ferrous Sulfide, or Fool's Gold.

the latest iteration of the Docking Test Probe is getting packaged up into its fairing today for storage
From the exterior, the Habitation Module has three distinct sections. I designed the module to include two self-contained sub-modules, housing equipment and private spaces, such as the lavatory, sick bay, and sleeping spaces. The central sub-module contains the living and work areas of the probe.

Inspired by a Dave Jones video "EEVblog 1178 - Build a $10 DIY EMC Probe"
Made 2 EMC probes with approximately 1cm and 1.5cm inner diameter, with RG402 semi rigid cable terminated with an SMA male connector. The probes are not yet finished thought, since I have to dip the probe tips in liquid electrical tape, that I don't have for now. I manage to insulate almost all the probe with heat shrink tube but the soldered part of ring is still exposed.
My IDS-2074E oscilloscope, besides the upgraded BW to 300MHz had a recent feature added, Spectrum Analyzer up to 500MHz, and in this photo it's showing the signal radiated from a 100MHz crystal oscillator, captured with the 1.5cm diameter EMC probe. The graph is set with the 100MHz centre frequency and a span of 10MHz.
The Spectrum Analyzer option is accessed through the square button "OPTION", on the inferior right corner of the dark area around the LCD. Until now, that button had no purpose.
The Wolfcraft clamp is just there to hold the EMC probe over the crystal oscillator being measured.

My previous 'touch plate' relied of electrical contact with the tool tip and so would not work with diamond and other electrically insulated tools.
This is the prototype of an electronic solution.
So, there is my tour of the Meta Probe. I enjoyed exploring the original design of the spaceship and trying to imagine what each of the sections would contain.
Sometimes someone's accident can benefit another! A Coca~Cola employee dumped 4 pallets of Cokes on my Mazda MX-6 and I was awarded a check and this is how I bought this little beauty! :)

1993 Ford Probe GT
Ford turned to partner Mazda to produce some of the magic installed in the Probe GT, but the result is tried-and-true American beef, built in a factory in Flat Rock, Michigan, just south of Motown. Radically modern cab-forward design turns in a shapely exterior, but rear-seat passengers are necessarily penalized in head room. A driver's airbag is standard. The interior is comfortable and striking in execution, and secure even in hot cornering. Some of the "lightness" inbred in the 2900-pound design is a minus; slamming a door with the window rolled down is not a peak experience. This is a thoroughly road car, with tight, predictable handling on tap in all speed ranges; the darn thing corners like it was only two inches off the ground, yet ride quality is impressive. Whether on the road course, driving through the mountains, or cooking through the slalom, the Probe GT sticks like burnt eggs to a frying pan. Its combination of marvelous road manners and a smooth, torque-drenched powerplant makes it a joy to drive under any circumstance, even in traffic around town. The 2.5-liter V-6 engine is a masterpiece. Churning out 164 horsepower, it provides quick, immediate response and a wide powerband. At the high end of the gear pattern, it gets a touch lethargic on steep climbs, but immediate relief is only a downshift away. Steering communicates with the driver as if connected to the central nervous system. Dive deep into a corner, jam the ABS-equipped four-wheel disc brakes to the floor and crank in the steering input. The Ford rises to the occasion cheerfully. The Probe GT delivers the most overall driving enjoyment you can get in this class for the money.
Motor Trend's 1993 Car of the Year
Ford's new Probe GT is a landmark car. For starters, its the first car from the company's joint venture with Mazda to attain full domestic status, according to the EPA. Thus its inclusion into the '93 Car of the Year field, where no Probe has gone before. It also happens to bring new grace and refinement to its particular slice of the domestic landscape, vaporizing the existing competition with its fine road manners and clean styling. More important, the Probe compares just as solidly with its imported competition; this car stands on its own merits in either context, which isn't something that can always be said of domestic offerings. The Ford Probe GT at last gives the Buy American crowd a chance to enjoy a world-class sport coupe in good conscience, and it gives import shoppers a strong alternative to import and transplanted offerings. One other distinction: The Ford Probe GT is Motor Trend's '93 Car of the Year.
The GT achieved this remarkable goal with consistently excellent performance in every regimen. At its heart, there's a wonderfully smooth 2.5-liter V-6 with sophisticated multi-valve technology that delivers strong and progressive bottom-end power to complement the solid rush on top. The turbocharged four- cylinder engine in the old Probe pales in comparison. Delivered to the front wheels via a five-speed manual transmission (or optional automatic), the Probe puts down its 164 horsepower effectively. Aggressive chassis tuning, along with wide tires, ensures a keen, sporting feel from behind the wheel. Good visibility and nimble, accurate steering response make the car supremely confidence-inspiring on snaking mountain roads.
The price for such capability is a small one- the highway ride is taut but agreeable, and the tires inform you of changes in road surface in a conversational tone. All perfectly in keeping with the Grand Touring role Ford engineers envisioned for the new Probe. Long-range comfort for front passengers is a strong suit, with supportive seats and room to spread out. Compact people fit nicely in the rear compartment, and full-size adults can handle short stints in class-average comfort.
The new Ford Probe GT didn't win Car of the Year without a fight. The American car industry is in a renaissance of historic proportions, and the best of that new thinking is embodied in this year's field of contenders. This wasn't an easy choice for our seven judges, but the result is a clear one: The '93 Ford Probe GT is at the leading edge of a revitalized domestic car industry.

By early day break "Alien Probes" had been spotted circling around Mr Jon's place in Thailand.
It is reported the probes had been seen during the night but was unable to verify until these recent photos came in .
This sighting was early Monday morning just as the probes started searching for likely victims.
Mr Jon, an affiliate with "Reporters That Can Run Boarders" brought us this news update just as the probes were crossing the river into his compound.
It is reported Mr Jon and family including the famed "WeeNee" and of course the "Worm" all escaped unharmed.
We here at news station WTF-D50 are awaiting for any updates as to where the Alien Probes might be rounding up cattle, sheep and people at this very moment.

The first generation Ford Probe was based on the Mazda GD platform, and was powered by a 2.2 L SOHC 4-cylinder Mazda F2 engine. It debuted in 1988 for the 1989 model year and was produced until 1993 in the United States. The Prove was available in several trim levels that differ depending on the market in which the vehicle was sold. In the United States, the Probe was available in GL, LX, and GT trim levels.
The GL was the base model with the 110 hp (82 kW)/130 lb·ft (176 N·m) F2 2.2 L engine and few options. Most Probes sold in the United States were equipped with air conditioning.
The LX added options for power locks, power windows, electrically adjusted exterior mirrors, a storage tray underneath the front passenger seat, as well as an optional flip-up moon roof. Starting in 1990, the LX was available with the 3.0 L "Vulcan" V6 engine, that was also used in the Ford Taurus, Ford Ranger, Ford Tempo, and Ford Aerostar. The LX package offered optional equipment, such as a single-disc CD player, and a digital instrument cluster coupled with a fuel economy computer installed in a hidden compartment on top of the center dashboard air conditioning vents.
The GT included all the equipment of the LX, but featured the F2T 2.2 L turbocharged, intercooled engine that produced 145 hp (108 kW) and 190 lb·ft (258 N·m) of torque. It came with an IHI RHB5-VJ11 turbocharger and an intercooler to the intake tract, as well as a knock sensor and electronic boost controller to the engine-control system. The boost pressure was 7.3 psi (0.50 bar) in the vicinity of 2,500 rpm. The GT version also came with 4-wheel disc brakes with ABS, a 3-way adjustable suspension utilizing variable damping shocks, and a speed-sensitive variable-assist power steering (VAP). The Probe GT's suspension system was based on a Mazda design, but its tuning was different and included nitrogen-gas pressurized front and rear struts, with stabilizer bars.
The 1991 Probe was given a 4-star crash rating in collision tests conducted by the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
The Meta Probe had a structural element that held the Command Module in place. This is similar to the structural spine of the Eagle Transporter. When seen in relation to the rest of the probe, it appears incongruous but also in keeping with the Space: 1999 design language.

In between attending Richard Hawley gigs, I spent a lot of time walking around the cities of the North of England.
Another Probe, this time it's the one with the larger engine. Presumably in enthusiast hands, as this was in immaculate condition.
The Engineering Modules are comprised of two separate sections joined together. I envisioned that each section housed specific equipment for each area of the probe.

And already there is a rare observation. Here we see 4 white dwarfs close together against the hot horizon of the universe. The fact that these heavy celestial bodies do not collapse into one another is expalined as follows: Gravitation is caused by distortion in the space-time curviture. These four white dwarfs are all surrounded by their own gravitatation curviture waves, which seem to cancel each other out, simlilar to jamming a radio signal and this way they can stay in place where they are. And the black spot on the right hand white dwarf must be the beginning of a black hole. Hey, this universe of ours is a great place......
