For some this place is a vacation destination. I'm not sure I'm up to that level but I suppose I can see it as a reason to make a stop along the way on a vacation.
For me, however, I just needed to go pick up some gun oil. I know some outdoor and hunting enthusiasts would have a stroke if they found out that I live close to a major Bass Pro Shop let alone just popped-in to grab some FP-10 for $7. However, I'll admit, I got distracted by all there was to see.
3 acres of museum quality wildlife exhibits, a professional boat center, gun room, 2 story waterfall with giant aquarium full of huge fish, candy store with home made fudge, and even an Uncle Buck's Fishbowl & Grill connected. Yup, I can see the allure.
