Coming in to the southern runway at LHR 09R/27L guess this would be 270 degrees Left, with a nice clear view of the Atrium Hotel as we go over the Great South West road. The end of our break in Switzerland - got through the digital passport check very quickly. But it was a long wait for any luggage to appear on the conveyor belt....... This was Friday afternoon, guess less staff that normal as some may have departed early for the weekend.?
We were on a Swiss - Airbus A321 Neo with the vertical winglets that improve fuel efficiency, extend the range and reduce drag. I thought they looked a fancy feature but actually have a design use.
We had rain and cloud and some loops then broke through the cloud as we descended to some late afternoon sunshine.
iPhones are great for these sort of shots. Apple iPhone 15 Pro Max used.

* 29th Nov 08* I just added a little 160Gb external for photos. Now there's a dedicated drive just for pics.
In Hong Kong our homes are tiny and so the desk is tiny too. =)

One more added...a 640Gb Buffalo External HD...I think 2.5Tb should do for now hehe
...oh, and I just replaced (September 09) my original 120Gb MacBook Pro 5400rpm drive with a 320Gb 7200rpm drive. Did a bit for machine speed. =)

I am not always keen on the output from the Go pro, but there are some situations where it is just great. I have even lost this thing in surf, then found it again on the beach. Here are some of the morning swimming crew at 07:00 14th November 24. Glorious conditions and a thoroughly enjoyable swim.

It was such a hectic start of the week that I barely got two chances to walk my dogs out of the house. So as the sun was setting I took them to the nearby empty lot. They loved running and chasing each other to burn off energy. As the stunning sunset silhouetted this lovely gazebo of my neighbor’s home, I was able to frame and capture this iPhone photo. No filter, No editing, SOOC (straight out of camera) image that you can clearly see the shades of colors in, despite it being a direct sun-facing shot. The nonstop wind of the last week ensured the flag was caught flying as well.
