A still evening at Cradle Mountain, Dove Lake, Tasmania.
I took quite a few this night and every time I process a new one it has its own unique character. So dark and so still - a magical place.
Someone owns the property around this lovely pond, replete with migrating ducks. Located near Bishop, in the Volcanic Tablelands, a vast volcanic landscape that was formed over 700,000 years ago by materials spewing from the Long Valley caldera. More to come ...

you can see how gentle our swan is taking from the hand in the 3 photos here and you can see he wants to take from the hand as there is some bread on the ground and he left that to come and take from the hand and he only likes brown bread as well lololol and the Water is in the fire bucket by the end of windbreak for him to wash the bread down
