I made this Gate and Lattice work. The lattice was made from 1"
x 6' x 1/2" PT Dog Eared fence boards. I cut each board into
1 3/4" strips to make the 70 degree diamond shape lattice. The spacing is 1 3/8". I shot 18 gauge stainless steel pins to build this. It's a very strong 1" thick railing or fence system.

July 19th, 2011. Privacy Urinal.
I've been in a lot of men's restrooms. I've never seen one that had the urinal in a stall. Amazing.
A neighbour came round for a moan with a bamboo root saying it came under his fence. They are all clump forming but in the interest of keeping the peace I took out all the bamboo along the fence line.I didn't find any long roots, and I have now lost my privacy as all the top windows look into my bedroom now ;(
So I planted some golden privet and put some cuttings in as I cut back things back to let some light onto the floor. It will take quite a few years but hopefully I will cover all the houses that can now be seen.
Before photo.
There were two other privacy screens on the deck rail that Peter and I removed because the deck rail was starting to fall down. We wanted to get some of the weight off the rail so that it wouldn't just fall off.
