I've thoroughly enjoyed using styrofoam meat trays to make prints on fabric in the last few days. Much less labour-intensive than lino blocks. Cheap, too! These are all small (2x3 inches or less). They look quite nice with paint all over them...

The printed transparency! Two things may have gone wrong at the point. If you've printed it on the rough side, then congratulations; you've messed up. And cost yourself a transparency at the same time. Pay more attention next time. Secondly, if you've forgotten to reverse your design, you'll soon notice. If you've printed it on the right side, though, you can always clean the slide and try again (see the final picture in this tutorial).

This is a shot of the Printing Horse Sculpture in front of a Building called the Print Media Academy in Heidelberg Germany. These are from my company Heidelberger Druckmaschinen - the biggest printing machine manufacturer in the world.
First, the webbing is put through the printing machine. The webbing is then stored in baskets for the next step.
These fabrics were all printed by myself in India. I attended a week long course facilitated by Skills Tourism to utilise local artisans in Mysore and showcase their skills. It was a busman's holiday for me as a printmaker but one of the best things I have ever done in India. If you ever get the opportunity, you must try it.
CMYK adjustments can be made across several columns in any spread or "form," containing multiple spreads on one sheet.

My second visit to this amazingly preserved one-man Newspaer Museum in Coos Bay Oregon. the Marsfield Sun ran from 1891- to 1944
This five-sided building contains all of the type cases and printing equipment used by The Marshfield Sun Newspaper, a weekly that began publication in 1891 and continued until 1944. Lots of letterpress equipment and such, but my favorite is the hot led machine that would turn paper molds into type molds. Amazing. Had the same tour guide, a self proclaimed, Printer's Devil, Ken Johnson who showed me around last visit.
