Second printed fabric design: I made a lace pattern out of a wireframe mathematical visualization, a breather. This is one repeat, about 6" wide. The small rondelles are from my dingbat font.
To get those photos I taped an old manual focus Pentax K 50mm 1.4 reversed into the lens hood of my Canon 50 1.8. This way the reversed lens endet up too far away which caused very noticable vignetting. If you get the focus plane right the sharpness of this lens combination is very good. Unfortunately it is very difficult to align everything correctly.
The reversed lens almost touches the objects and blocks much light. If you are serious about macros a specialized macro lens will work much better. But it is fun to experiment a little without spending money.
