This is a collection of front pages and special sections that I designed while at the Washington Times-Reporter.

 

Special section that highlighted a basketball tournament hosted by our local high school. Other than the basketball story itself, the execution of this package from photos to number to graphics, this project was mine from conception to publication. It was the first year the paper tried something like this after I approached the publisher with the idea.

using one of the principles or ideas from the gestalt theory we had to create a mock mailer for a fake shigeo fukuda event. the work of shigeo (who is known for his visual illusions) was to be represented through the innovative use of paper. i decided to focus on transparencies. we also had to use a font from the senior class.

Missoula In Motion (MIM) exists to promote sustainable alternatives to one person - one car commuting. Not wanting to admonish people for driving, MIM was looking instead to encourage them to change their behavior and use sustainable transportation just one day a week. Our "See Commuting Differently" campaign has helped them get scores of new people to take to bikes, carpooling, buses, walking and vanpools. Bus ridership alone has risen 16% since the campaign began, membership in MIM's member log on group, the Way To Go! Club, has grown exponentially and visits to the website have nearly doubled.

Tropical Sky, the luxury holiday specialists offering long haul travel, bespoke holidays to exotic destinations have commissioned Wild Dog to design their new flagship Weddings brochure. A 68 page perfect bound brochure, designed with strong typographical detail, gorgeous imagery and foiled cover sets the brochure apart from the competition.
