A "Princess Li Roll" from Haiku in Shanghai :) SO delicious, but probably one with the most calories! xD With deep-fried shrimp (ebi tempura), avocado, cooked snow crab & cucumber; rolled in large tempura flakes!

The Princess Parrot is a medium sized parrot, 34 to 46 cms long. This is a blue mutation of the breed as the plumage is usually green with a pink throat, bluish crown, and bright green shoulders. The rump is blue and the tail is long and narrow. The males have longer tail feathers and brighter colouring than females. The male also has a coral-red beak, while the female's is duller and has a greyish crown. Their life span is thought to be as long as 30 years. It inhabits arid woodland and scrub with spinifex, eucalypts, acacias, etc. They are unusual among parrots in engaging in mobbing behaviour against predators. They feed on the seeds of grasses and shrubs.
In the Kirkdale area of Liverpool, the former Princess Cinema is awaiting demolition. The cinema opened on 11th May 1931, with seating for 1,460 people. In 1958, Essoldo chain took over the running of the cinema. In 1966, the end came for the Princess Cinema and it closed. It was converted into a bingo hall, which itself closed in 2000. October 2009 saw plans approved to demolish the cinema and replace it with housing.
Taj, my grandson, was just a few weeks of turning 3, when the family took him to Disneyland to meet the girl of his dreams--Cinderella. He does think Snow White is swell, as you can tell, and enjoyed meeting her, though his heart belongs to another. He was quite unaffected by being the only boy in line to meet the princesses. In fact, as we were following the path to her castle, he cupped his hands to his mouth and proclaimed: "I'm coming, Cinderella, I'm coming!" A few months after his trip, he was playing a game that involved miracles and Cinderella. Curious to discover his meaning of "miracles", my daughter asked: "Taj, what is a miracle?" "Well," he replied, "a miracle is something trying to beautiful." Ah...the power of a Disney Princess. (This photo was recently featured in the on-line magazine of Southwest Airlines in a section that features passenger photos).
