Prime morning. The tree line over the cornfield. Through the fog a little blue on the left a touch of pink from the sun rise on the right. Me on the front yard at 7 o'clock in the fog and wet grass.

I managed to reduce the tiny prime a bit more. 15 pieces in this one including a sausage ;)

My Macro Mondays submission for "Photography Gear" - I'll be honest, I kind of struggled with this one. Taking pictures of photographer gear is not something I generally enjoy but I accepted the challenge and this is what I came up with. I used my Fujifilm XF 35mm f/2 and a silver reflector behind it for a interesting background. I also used studio lighting. So everything in the picture is photography gear.

Happy Macro Monday!!!

Seaview Transportation number 36 has recently been returned to service and has been primed for a paint job when the weather warms up. This switcher is an EMD SW9 acquired from last owner Pennsylvania Power and Light where it was numbered PPLX 36. Originally blt. Mar. 1951 as Pittsburgh and Lake Erie number 8940 it was sold to the Bangor and Aroostook in 1972 where it spend more than two more decades before being sold for industrial use.

When completed it should look like the design on this sign that greets visitors arriving at the railroad's West Davisville Yard and shop:

Captured with my little, humble lens. During the "photo16" we took a break and headed outside the exposition to have a coffee. Up on the top floor of that very building is a little bar. Before entering i took this shot. The light on that afternoon was very... well you can see it on this capture.
