Hey, London, the theme is "pretty in pink" why aren't you wearing pink like me??
I don't need to wear pink, Lydia! Duh!
A friend brought his daughter around to be photographed today. Pippy was a delightful model. Such fun we had! (To get her to look at the camera, I had a toy elephant balanced on my head!)
Pretty fun overall. They are doing a couple more screenings of Shaun of the Dead and Fight Club in the following weeks. Probably won't get to make it but it was good to go at least once this summer.
So I attended the Hollywood Outdoor Cinema in Silver Lake tonight (in the Circuit City parking lot) for a screening of Pretty in Pink. It was quite coincidental timing with John Hughes' passing but it's a classic 80s movie. Now I wanna watch Breakfast Club and Ferris Bueller's Day Off again...and Sixteen Candles! Fun night overall.
The flowering Rhododendron shrubs are looking magnificent at the moment in the Birmingham Botanical Gardens, England.
It's Sparkling Lychee Flavored Drink. Doesn't it look luscious? Well, it tastes terrible! Sort of like a tart Alka Seltzer. It'll never replace Dr. Pepper and Mountain Dew with me.
i thought i was following the "pretty in pink" tank top pattern by Amanda Reed, but i was extremely preoccupied by a singularly stressful thing that happened and ended up with a completely different neckline-- thus, perplexed in purple.
Part of a new strawberry patch in our backyard garden. Not a patch really, more of a series of wooden planters I fashioned along a deck railing. 20 plants in all, complete with drip irrigation (phase two) and easily accessible for my partner Kristin. Getting my edible landscaping game back on. Will photograph a full view of this setup soon. These are a Fragaria hybrid called Pretty in Pink. I had forgotten that strawberries are members of the rose family.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!
It was gorgeous out today, so wanted to take advantage of the good weather and take my photo outside today. Work got me down, and laying outside in the grass totally perked me up again. Now it's a good day.

I haven't been on Flickr in ages, but I'm back with a vengeance. Finally got my first go in a studio and had Lyn do a great job of modelling for me.
