Great show (as always) by the Psychedelic Furs tonight at the Salt Shed (Chicago). Third time in 3 years, and they absolutely blow me away every time. I get to the show early to make SURE that I am close and can't possibly get booted from my spot. A little touch and go today, but I held my ground.
Your lil one deserves a swimwear that matches her cuteness and protects her from the sun. And that’s what the swim suit delivers. To shop, visit the link in bio!!
We are continuing our highlight of independently-owned shops who have decorated their storefront for the holidays and are sharing this gorgeous gem on Elizabeth Street in NoLita, the Little Words Project. This jewelry and accessories store was founded by Adriana Carrig and “aims to inspire and encourage people to be kind to themselves and to pay that kindness forward, one bracelet at a time.” On her website, Adriana states that she hopes “Little Words bring you all the positivity and love that you bring to us.” We couldn’t think of a more wonderful message, especially during the holidays.

The plum blossom has been an important symbol in Chinese culture. As a “friend of winter,” the plum blossom most vividly represents the value of endurance, as life ultimately overcomes through the vicissitude of time. The fragrance of plum blossoms “comes from the bitterness and coldness,” as the Chinese saying goes. Souls are tempered in the depth of experience, growing in inner strength and unyielding courage.
Unity of culture and nature has been an important part of the Chinese tradition, and elements of nature embody important cultural values. The plum, together with the orchid, bamboo, and chrysanthemum, have been named the “four nobles” of plants by the ancient Chinese, each because of its noble characteristics, such as purity (orchid), uprightness (bamboo), and humility (chrysanthemum). after a week of freezing temperatures and too much snow for this time of year, it's nothing but spring temperatures and sunshine in calgary this weekend..

Sometimes it's best not to know what your kids are up to...I had no idea.
In a world full of people only some want to fly, isn't that crazy...
We found this at several stops in the Kunigami and I even found one in a small restaurant I frequent in Naha. It's an old rotary dial pay phone! The coin slot is on top...only 10 Yen. And it's huge! Probably as big as many rice cookers. Imagine if this were the state of the art for cell phones. I think you'd get a hernia lugging this thing around all day.
its really a picnic type atmosphere. people bring chairs and blankets as well as their own food and drinks.

Hey wasn't that the Jungle Prom? So shouldnt her pieces be a flask and toe tag? Also this Taylor teacher doesnt ring a bell, but she does look like Jessica from the future. Eerie.
the event draws a few food trucks to cater to the crowd that shows up for an outdoor screening. there was a dosa truck that served indian style pancakes which they wrapped around various food items, no meat though, just veggie items. it was okay but waaay overpriced. kogi needs to come here... hehe.
