caroline talks to you softly sometimes
she says "i love you" and "too much"
she doesn't have anything you want to steal
well nothing you can touch
she waves
she buttons your shirt
the traffic is waiting outside
she hands you this coat
she gives you her clothes
these cars collide

I apologize for the poor quality of this photo series. These are "deleted scenes" from my blog. They(and the idea) were scrapped because of said quality. They were supposed to be having a welcome party for Caitlin. This is the worst of the bunch.

*These were NOT taken in 2007. These were taken on my old camera, which is convinced it is 2007
This is going to be one fun quilt with all the wonky bright log cabins. I can't wait to see how she puts it all together.
Pretty in pink - new lime-based harl to stop the damp. Built in 1626 for William Forbes, the house contains some of the best ceilings in Britain.
this is where most of the fans there and i'm sure most pretty in pink fans wish that molly ringwald's character chose duckie instead of the rich dude. and excuse my poor photoshop... hehe.
my photos were featured in a recent laist article about this event.
I am determined to add more edible plants to my garden this year. A gardening buddy in the Bay Area has inspired me with her garden; almost everything she grows is edible or useful. When I saw these strawberries at the nursery, blooming in pink... I knew the perfect place to plant them.

Doris and I enjoyed an evening of learning collage techniques from the queen of collage, Nancy. This was Tuesday evening after a quilting/knitting class, so hope I can remember all the neat tricks. Too many pics, though, and trying not to clutter was the most difficult for me. This is a series from a recent visit with Sienna. She's loves books, and pretending to read.
Below is a photo Nancy processed of Sienna. Can't wait to try more of the processing tricks she demonstrated. This is one of Nancy's collages: www.flickr.com/photos/nancy_harris/3973890929/
This is a collage that Doris did after the workshop:

BTW-Doris, the knitting wizard is trying to teach a quilting class to knit. She has the patience of Job. More on that another day.

Our beautiful Autumn looks positively adorable in head-to-toe bubblegum pink latex—but she still couldn’t resist chewing gum in class! One trip to the chalkboard, a little tape, and a few sweet swats later... and now she’s the prettiest pink lesson in obedience you’ve ever seen.
Firm but fair. Cute but clearly in trouble. Would you have written her up—or kept her after class too?

Little Amelia was very sorry! I'm not sure what she'd done, but she looked so cute when she said "oops!" that it didn't matter! (From yesterday's christening shoot.)
