This is a BRAND NEW one of a kind tsumami kanzashi decorative hair comb. Tsumami (folded flower) kanzashi are a type of Japanese hair ornament made of tiny squares of fabric. This piece was made from vintage kimono silk and fashioned in the form an cute little peony that's decorated with faux pearls and a chiffon ribbon. This piece is approximately 3" across and 2.5" from top to bottom.
Tsumami kanzashi are perfect for many special occasions - proms, weddings, formals, historical costumes and cosplay.

Pretty muddy is a race for life event run annually. The aim is to raise money through donations to support Cancer charity Cancer UK.
My two daughters have run the race for some years now. This year my youngest daughter and friend ran for my granddaughter recovering after being diagnosed with cancer at 8 months old, she is now in remission and thanks to modern medicine is faring well.
The 'Pretty Muddy' race is 5Km and every so often there are obstacles to negotiate, usually involving mud and water.

Far-out 1970 Christie with oxidized red hair wears a rare version of the 1968 PAK fashion "Dressed-Up." The bodice is from the same fabric as the brocade overdress from #1660 "Evening Gala" (1966-1967). The skirt is a very delicate red satin which LOVES to fade. Took me years to find this one in mint condition. She is pictured with a NRFB 1970 Christie and an equally beautiful near mint Christie with dark black cherry hair.
She works at the MDRF making the wooden pins she's wearing.

It was pretty ugly when I got to the mountain this morning. It was raining and I got into a dense fog (cloud) right when I got to the top. But due to the modern miracle of technology, a look at the weather radar on my phone convinced me the rain was leaving (despite the forecast). It started clearing off a few minutes before sunrise. And while I never saw the Sun, it was kind of pretty, for being so ugly.
