One of those days,
when the haze makes
walking more like swimming,
and you rub your eyes and glare at the sky.
or follow the pretty to the pool.

I had a date with a pretty ballerina
Her hair so brilliant that it hurt my eyes
I asked her for this dance
and then she obliged me
Was I surprised, yeah
Was I surprised, no not at all
... ... ... ...
And when I wake on a dreary Sunday morning
I open up my eyes to find there's rain
And something strange within said,
"go ahead and find her
Just close your eyes, yeah
Just close your eyes and she'll be there"
She'll be there...
Yes, an old rock and roll song by a group called The Left Banke ... I've always kinda liked it... and this grass dancing in the breeze reminded me of that song

Pretty flower cake. Would look better but it was so hot in the kitchen my frosting was melting really fast. So I had to work really quickly and kinda sloppily for my perfectionist self.
My makeup skills are improving. This is relatively good I think. Eye-holes are a bit small for false eyelashes...

This is the first time I've had such good luck capturing a pink water lily. Most of the time I only see white or blue ones. They are all beautiful, but this one was spectacular.
Once or twice a year I go to Aimes Park to capture these beautiful flowers. They are among my favorites, and I'm never disappointed, no matter what color they are.

Here it is, the big daddy. Currently holding the record for the longest SHIP at 12 feet 6 inches, or 487 studs, the Tribunal was a substantial investment in time and labor for me. I decided that, for it I would upload an entire set of the beautiful pictures taken by Geoff Gray, in glorious high resolution. There are descriptions of what all the rooms and areas are on the web site, although the pictures are pretty substantial too.
This set is enormous, so enjoy the browsing!
I'm pretty sure we got free starbucks this day because the homosexual cashier loved Margo's outfit. What a good day.
