'Lady Bessie Prescot' No. 7: Worthington-Simpson 1008-hp 25-rpm inverted marine-style triple-expansion steam engine, 62-ft tall and weighing 800-tons. Built in 1928 to pump up to 19-million-gallons/day of drinking water for London Metropolitan Water Board, it is similar to engines on-board the ill-fated White Star Line RMS Titanic

Following directly behind the 14.44 Liverpool Lime Street to Wigan North Western all stations service, DB Cargo Class 66 66009 was crawling through Prescot station with a well-loaded 14.16 Seaforth Container Terminal to Mossend Down Yard intermodal (4S38) in the rapidly fading afternoon light of November 16th 2022.
Seen here passing Prescot Station and what may of been the first time since 1996, a pair of Class 20's, No 20118 and 20901 transverse the St Helens to Huyton Junction line on 0Z60 08.57hrs Chaddesden Sidings to Kirkdale L/E route learning jolly! Unfortunately, this was the only image I could obtain of this working as I was due in work 90 minutes after this train pass by. 11th August 2021.

Inter City livery Class 47, No 47843 passes Prescot Station with 14.22hrs Edinburgh to Liverpool Lime St I/C train. Taken from Kingsway road bridge but this view has now disappeared due to electrification. 13th May 1992.

Over the 1992 August Bank Holiday weekend, bridge work near Warrington saw WCML services for the north diverted via Prescot and here we see 47627 City of Oxford dragging 82141 and 87004 Britannia on the 1215 Euston - Glasgow Central. 29 August 1992.
Approaching Warrrington Road bridge, Prescot, BR 'Black 5' No 45303 heads 1Z42 07.22hrs Liverpool Lime Street to Carlisle "CME". In the background is Prescot Signal Box and Station with the background apartments now on the ex BICC workings and railway sidings. 23rd July 2011.
