In and around Prescot there are fourteen(*) creatures which were featured in the Witches’ Chant from Macbeth.

(*) that is what the sign says - but on the link above there are thirteen photos, and then two extra in the theatre.

 

We haven't found them all yet - we did look for a trail map but that doesn't seem to exist.

 

I have emailed Brian Fell so fingers crossed for a reply.

Even around the longest day, the sun still does not fully get in at Prescot Station with numerous tree and building shadows to record 6F65 17.52hrs Ashton In Makerfield to Tuebrook Sidings e/jna's. I opted for the not so perfect short telephoto image of No 66794 'Steve Hannam' approaching the station. SDaly since the new lift's have gone in, you cannot get to the edge of the original platform. 22nd June 2022.

Just after crossing M57 motorway, Inter City livery Class 47, No 47845 'County of Kent' heads - 08.50hrs Liverpool Lime Street to Edinburgh Waverley while a husband and wife tend to their garden on Thomas Drive, Prescot. 6th May 1995.
