After finally finishing unpacking the obvious next step was to start practicing. Alison pulled her wand from her holster and took a step toward the trunk. Keeping her distance she pushed the trunk's lid open with the tip of her sneakers and quickly jumped back. A grin struck her face and she was ready!
Fighter jets sometimes use Rainbow Canyon to practice low flying maneuvers. It was amazing to watch them even though we only got to see a couple of flights. The Rainbow Canyon is next to Father Crowleys Overlook on the western side of Death Valley National Park. The canyon is also known as the "Star Wars Canyon".

Because of their weight and size, most large waterfowl, such as geese and swans, need a long running start to get airborne.

Every Sunday evening is duelling practice time on Barracuda Bay! So Lady Anchor and Robin Loot square off and prepare to contest their skill. On frequent occasion, after the count of ten paces, Robin has be known to swig her liquor instead of shooting.
This round of Iron Forge has been quite fun, and there’s been some amazing models across the board. I really enjoyed experimenting with the bananas, a huge thanks to all of the people who let me borrow their bananas. It was very appreciated!
After months of weekend practice the house gets burned today. 19* and it's gonna be a cold one. Us wives have chili and breads etc. for afterwards. They are going to need it. This property was purchased and someday a fire hall for the township will sit on this corner lot.

Evilyn's daily practice with her telekinesis powers is really paying off... from levitating her sister Ivy, she's now moved on to levitating me!

I'm hoping that daily practice might help me improve my photography, so i started a non-dolly flickr on 2nd January. I'm not calling it a 365 project because i doubt i'll get that far! but i'm doing as much as i can.
This was my first attempt at this kind of self portrait, and it wasn't mega successful. I had some technical issues that meant it couldn't come out quite how i wanted it to, but i decided not to re-shoot it, so i'm putting it on here as it's technically a dolly photo :)
Edit: In case you're wondering, there is very little editing in this scene, the in-camera photo is not very different at all - my dress covered almost all of the stool i was leaning back on so there wasn't much to edit out ;)
Travel photography to me is about the place, food and the people. I've learnt so much practicing my craft in this beautiful country. But all things must come to an end, I end my France journey in the city of light/ love and would like to thank everyone who took the time to view or liked my photos. I look forward to your continued support and also viewing your wonderful photos as well!
The Pont Alexandre III is Paris’s most elegant, grandiose, and sumptuous bridge: one of the most beautiful river crossings in the world. It was built for the Exposition Universelle of 1900, an international world’s fair that introduced talking films, escalators, Russian nesting dolls, wireless telegraphy (radio), and the most powerful telescope ever built. Rudolf Diesel exhibited his new combustion engine which ran only on peanut oil, and the city staged the first Olympic Games outside of Greece. The fair introduced the Art Nouveau style into popular culture and for the first time electric lights illuminated the City of Light.*
