Made from a collage of mine of bedroom doors open and I also went to Duygu Bruce website and found a picture of Hypnos, the God of Sleep and his Powers and copied it and abstracted it. I did not find any copyright information, if I am incorrect about being able to use it, I am more than willing to take this work down:

Thank you for your kind visit. Have a wonderful and beautiful day! ❤️❤️❤️

I'm a few minutes late, but I'll still throw one up for "C628 Saturday." Chicago & North Western manifest No. 936 rolls east near Powers, MI on June 9, 1983 with C628's No's. 6712 and 6725.

I've been busily spending the last week or so clearing out my 'Flickr upload' folder on my computer (that's why i've been uploading so many images each day) - when I edit photos for uploading I save them to this folder then select photos for upload as I go.

I've usually got a quite a few saved here at any one time.

This is the last image in the folder - for the first time in years it's now *empty*.

I've just bought a new computer, so i'm going through the whole file transfer, moving email, settings, etc. Such a painful process, lucky I don't do this too often. The new computer is awesome though, so much more memory and more processing power - I have been very limited with Photoshop and Lightroom with large files, so it will be a creative relief to not be held back by computing power for a change. It's just going to take me a while to get some photos back in the 'new' Flickr upload folder.

I'm still uploading random images to my Instagram account in the meantime - www.instagram.com/keithmidson/

Oh, this shot was taken at the disused railway line at Lilydale Falls, northeast Tasmania.

The powers that be thought Hank was so brave to ride a horse that they wanted him to be an example for others.. If he could do it so could every one else.. So they had his picture put in the Museum for the world to see... Happy Teddy Bear Tuesday, Everybody!!!

The tower on the old Powers building at sunset, a beautiful structure

The Powers Building in Rochester, New York. Construction began in 1865 and the initial phase was completed in 1868. Originally a five story building, more floors were added in order to maintain it's status as the tallest building in Rochester. Today there are 9 stories measuring 165 feet, and ranks 20th among the tallest buildings in Rochester.

This was an expensive shot. I was sitting on a rock by the edge of a swirling pond taking shots of the falls - camera perched on a tripod directly in front of me between my legs. I was there about 20 minutes and decided to call it quits and very carefully stood up so i would not knock my camera over into the pond - so i backed away and half way to standing position i heard something fall to the ground and bounce into the waters. I had forgotten my cell phone was sitting on my knee.

Lying face down in the mud my arm totally emersed in the freezing water I extend as far as I can in 3 foot radius digging in the muddy bottom without success. Meanwhile JoAnne, who had been sleeping in the car appears in a panic above me thinking I had fallen in. I reassured I had just lost my $1200 phone in the water. No visibility in the muddy water I changed position and tried another area. I then tried dragging my tripod legs along the bottom 5 feet out hoping to drag it towards me. No luck. Finally i decided to give it up and picked up my camera to leave. JoAnne who came down to assist leans over the water 8 feet to my left and spots it, still lit up, no worse for wear I fish it out of 1 foot of water. Saved again by my wife. In gratitude I take her to a wine shop and tell her, pick one - price no object - your choice. She passes the $240 bottle and picks out a $10 bottle on sale. What can I say, she's a keeper.

new construction, but not a bad attempt at re-creation...the chrome is inauthentic though; stainless was typical in the originals

For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Ephesians 6:12

Romans 8:38-39 For I am persuaded that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from God's love which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. "The Powers family first built their frame house, a Greek-Revival style home, in 1854. After the Powers family moved on, Samuel Walker, a prominent local citizen, purchased the farm. In the late 1990’s, the District and McHenry County Historic Preservation Commission determined that the house still contained a significant portion of architectural integrity, unaltered over 140 years of use. An active volunteer group is working to restore and refurbish the home’s interior and exterior historic appearance."

Just watched the Tested episode where Adam gets to try on the suit that Danny McBride wears in Alien: Covenant. I was inspired to do a very simple build. I'll be watching the film this weekend and I have high hopes :)

I recently had yet another chance to travel to Sydney and stay for a while whilst working. Sydney’s weather didn’t treat me too well but apart from that, it was a good time had by all, I shopped, partied, hung out with friends and family, explored new places, met some amazing new friends, and set some awesome things up that you’ll see in the future. Aside from all that I got two days of shoots in for the lovely Asia Power’s 2009/2010 summer capsule range…

Asia’s range is pretty amazing and speaks for itself, they are beautiful pieces, and Shara did nothing but make the garments even more amazing on working the camera and been a good sport when it came to the weather and the difficult and dangerous terrain of the location.

This was a long and tedious shoot, the longest I’ve shot, and also the first of my full daylight on location shoots. It was cold and windy, hot and sunny, but we made it through the two days of shooting. Big thanks go out to the girls Allyce, her sister Brianna, Asia and her sister Stephanie for been the best assistants holding my lights and moving them around and helping with adjustments and stopping them from falling slash blowing off the cliffs, even though the girls nearly went over the cliffs with the lights a few times themselves.

Over all it was a great shoot I had fun it was a little bit of a differed style for me with the strenuous amounts of colour but I love trying new things. It was great working with Asia for the first time and Working with Allyce and Shara once more it’s always a pleasure and am glad that they have learned how to put up with me for now.

So here are the shots enjoy…

Well due to internet problems I've missed a few days on Flickr. I haven't kicked the bucket yet but my modum did. I'll post a couple this evening and hopefully again tomorrow if work doesn't overwhelm me. This shot is by Joe Seidl and has CNW train PRANA powered by WC 312 and 4310 at Powers on January 5, 1994. The WC had stored the ex GB&W Alco's within a couple weeks of buying the GB&W and FRVR but power short in a bitter winter 93-94 a few of the Alco's were called back into service to mostly switch Green Bay. The WC often supplied power to CNW for the PRANA/ANPRA trains north of Green Bay and those became another location the ex GB&W Alco's worked to the chagrin of the CNW crews who had seen there last Alco's in 1986. day 2 at the Big Trees Forest Preserve

this is KL, an her twin bro, Lynx, they only have max power wen they r touching hands, there powers r all the elements, mind reading, time travel, but Lynx can multiply himself to as many of him's as he needs/wants, an KL can activate her mongeyko sharingon, an use the one-thousand birds kakashi hatake move.

but they hate each other, so its hard for them to hold hands, they haven't seen or heard frum each other in 6 1/2 years, how they survived w/ half-power all those years is a suprise to everyone.
