I usually try to avoid similars, but there were only about a dozen keepers from this shoot so I put up all the ones I like.

The Santan Freeway Loop 202 is in the southeast valley of Phoenix. Onsite Insite offers billboards along the Santan Freeway between I-10 and the Price Freeway Loop 101 in Chandler.
You can see where the dirt begins, the hallway was entirely covered by this 4 inch mat of dirt. A little powerwashing of the floors and they'll be good as new!

Workers getting grease out of the sidewalk of Assembly Row outlet mall. Easy to maintain social distancing with the public--no one wants to get close to a power sprayer.
St John the Baptist Church, Eyrecourt, County Galway (1867). Fine church in the village of Eyrecourt in SE Galway. Could do with a good powerwash. Would love to have seen inside as its meant to be a beautiful interior but as almost always it was locked tight.
It looks like it hadn't been sitting neglected for the last 22 years!!!
Paramount Pictures contacted SRS - Stone Restoration Service - Detroit (based out of Troy, Michigan) about cleaning the floor of the depot to try and bring out as much color as possible.
They did three samples but in the end the studio decided to try a different, albeit cheaper route.
Gregg from SRS reported however that the tests were very successful in bringing out the former luster in the flooring and was very optimistic about restoring the floor even ten years from now which would leave the depot abandoned for 30 years.
Conservation work at the Grand Army of the Republic (GAR) plot at Woodland Cemetery in Cleveland, Ohio.
Work included resetting the stones in an upright position, and powerwashing the memorial and headstones.
According to Cemetery Conservators United:
"Cleaning with power washers is also not recommended. ... Many historic stone structures have had their historic mortars and soft bricks damaged with this process. The two key factors here are, the amount of pressure and the softness of the stone. The real damage occurs when overzealous people turn the pressure up on soft stonework.
"This process should only be managed by professionals who use it on a limited basis if at all. Many preservationists want nothing to do with it what so ever and others use it sparingly. ... We caution against it because typically there are too many factors involved and too many things can go wrong very easily."

Paramount Pictures contacted SRS - Stone Restoration Service - Detroit (based out of Troy, Michigan) about cleaning the floor of the depot to try and bring out as much color as possible.
They did three samples but in the end the studio decided to try a different, albeit cheaper route.
Gregg from SRS reported however that the tests were very successful in bringing out the former luster in the flooring and was very optimistic about restoring the floor even ten years from now which would leave the depot abandoned for 30 years.

September 28, 2014, we joined with a group of some 30 other Old Cemeteries Society of Victoria (OCSV) enthusiasts to learn about Pioneer Farmers of Saanich, BC, from OCSV President, Dr. Sylvia Van Kirk.. More than a century ago farming was a major activity in Gordon Head, the Saanich Peninsula and other outlying areas. Today’s first-time tour will visit graves of pioneer farmers and those connected with them.
The OCSV is dedicated to researching, preserving and encouraging the appreciation of Victoria's heritage cemeteries. Their members are involved in many volunteer activities, mainly at Ross Bay Cemetery (RBC). Cataloging, cleaning and restoring monuments, computerizing burial records, combating vandalism, conducting historical research and giving walking, history tours.
Dr. van Kirk included our family gravesite in her RBC tour and we have today's photo-to-prove-it. Thank you on behalf of the Irvine Family Genealogical Group (IFGG) to the OSCV for powerwashing the Laing/Irvine burial plot which has been here for over 132 years.
John and Jessie Irvine's granddaughter, Elizabeth Jessie Laing, died March 24, 1882 (at age 6yrs4mon.) and was buried in the plot initially purchased for the grandparents. John Irvine was interred here in 1906 and his wife, Jessie, the following year. Hence, Laing/Irvine burial plot.

Murray Schumacher power washes the main building on the Coombs Rodeo Grounds Restoration Job Creation Partnership. Murray was one of was one of four local workers from Coombs who participated in a BC government-funded Job Creation Partnership that helped them gain work skills so they could get further employment.

I was recently commissioned to paint a moose sculpture. These sculptures were very popular in Toronto around the year 2000 - there were over 300 of them scattered throughout the city. Many were then auctioned off privately to raise money for charity.
This one had seen some wear and tear being out in the elements for nearly 15 years. I spent a few days powerwashing, priming and then painting it. This is the (mostly) finished product.
