I think that I would have been pretty mad and upset if this was to have happened - reaching for insurance documents etc. Multi exposure and masked in Photoshop, the combination of two HDR images helped to reveal the power train below the bonnet.
Walked out of the store to get hit in the face with a blast of "afternoon sauna air." I noticed someone was powerwashing the outdoor fruit shelves (too hot to leave the fruit out). I also noticed he was looking pretty comfortable despite the heat.

Tuesday morning the police evicted the protesters and cleaned the park. Tensions ran high that morning - scenes from an empty Zuccotti around 9:15 a.m.; the regrouping of the protesters at a lot on Canal & 6th Street around 10:15 a.m.; and then their return to Zuccotti to confront the police around 11:00 a.m.

I had a day in the garden and most of my time was spent power washing our mono block - what a dirty old job that was!! When I started, both my yellow garden hose and yellow Karcher power hose were nicely bright and clean .... now there a little dirty and maybe just a little mellow!!

A team of ACME Powerwash technicians use industrial pressure washers to steam-clean a 6,000 sq ft concrete slab in Phoenix, Arizona. Each machines forces out steam and hot-water up to 300°F and 3500 psi. They are devoid of graffiti!
Paramount Pictures contacted SRS - Stone Restoration Service - Detroit (based out of Troy, Michigan) about cleaning the floor of the depot to try and bring out as much color as possible.
They did three samples but in the end the studio decided to try a different, albeit cheaper route.
Gregg from SRS reported however that the tests were very successful in bringing out the former luster in the flooring and was very optimistic about restoring the floor even ten years from now which would leave the depot abandoned for 30 years.
Conservation work at the Grand Army of the Republic (GAR) plot at Woodland Cemetery in Cleveland, Ohio.
Work included resetting the stones in an upright position, and powerwashing the memorial and headstones.
According to Cemetery Conservators United:
"Cleaning with power washers is also not recommended. ... Many historic stone structures have had their historic mortars and soft bricks damaged with this process. The two key factors here are, the amount of pressure and the softness of the stone. The real damage occurs when overzealous people turn the pressure up on soft stonework.
"This process should only be managed by professionals who use it on a limited basis if at all. Many preservationists want nothing to do with it what so ever and others use it sparingly. ... We caution against it because typically there are too many factors involved and too many things can go wrong very easily."
Oh my goodness. We did this over 4 days, but since we got rained out on Day 3, I'm saying it took 3 days to do. We still have some details to take care of, like powerwashing the whole backyard, and sealing the deck, and doing something/anything to cover that chain link fence. All in all, we love it, and our very proud we could work together to build this, especially with no previous deck building experience between us.
We even had our 1st cookout, and it held 5 people without flinching. Thank goodness for that.
