Powerlines just southeast of Dalvík, Iceland

Went to a girls night in Raleigh a few weeks ago and just got around to upload them. I like powerlines.

In early July and 1600 feet, the wine berries are baring some fruit. I let them lay three months for the hen and her brood, deer, possums, coons, coyotes, and friends. Then I made a chutney for pancakes and I had a cup for the West Virginia trip to Canaan Valley. The fruit is probably ripe there, too. It's nice to have some Nature's best of gifts.

Instead of waiting for the lines to be fixed properly, people have taken it upon themselves to run their own powerlines.

This plant is out in the middle of the woods and in a very small town.

The old crossarms were changed for the double metal c-channel.

Output from the transformer field of the europes biggest peat power plant. I think they're 220kv lines, it's 6-8 discs for 110, 10-12 for 220 and 18-21 for 400.

Good job fixing this one guys.

Always loved power lines like these, remind me of being out in the country somewhere... never realized that they run across much of nassau county.... amazing what you eye can miss in the busy suburbs of NYC

Seven different Six-Minute exposures layered in CS3 using lighten mode. Some adjustments to counter lens distortion. 30min drive west of Medicine Hat, AB.

Vertical trail between top and middle wire, just right of the main pole. Satellite? Plane? or what I choose to believe, a falling star? Tell me what you think. Thanks for looking.
