A small white wildflower growing near the "Whale Rock" at the Thorncrag Bird Sanctuary. If anybody knows what type of flower this is, I sure would appreciate knowing!

Another memorial is protected at the park. After countless years, the huge complex has only seen two fatalities.

I spend a lot of time finding places where the views are not spoiled by LADWP's power lines, aqueduct or roads but now I am going to try to embrace the ugly

There is something about power lines/poles that I like. What I noticed in AZ was the poles which are metal compared to the wood poles in CA. The smooth vertical lines with the cables were perfect (to me) against the cloudy sky.
