These are the thinnest wires I've ever seen for a 34.5KV line. The poles and insulators look ancient as well.

There is something about power lines/poles that I like. What I noticed in AZ was the poles which are metal compared to the wood poles in CA. The smooth vertical lines with the cables were perfect (to me) against the cloudy sky.

The sky was actually really gray. but i guess when grey is underexposed horrendously on velvia 100f this happens. the shutter speeds on my rollei arent that slow i guess.
