The breaker pole was changed a few days ago. This is the second time in six months that Cleco has a contractor in town changing numerous poles. This time it's Chain Electric
This is the pole I posted a few weeks ago that was about to be changed. It turns out that they actually cut off the extra at the top when they finally did change it. (The new pole was much taller than the old one)
These newer poles were built so an exit ramp could be built. You see this all down Hwy 90 because they are upgrading the hwy to interstate standards.

To left and right, harvested cornfields are visible. The little 'house' under the power line is actually an electrical substation, designed to fit a little more into it's surroundings.
