Seems strange that they would use a steel pole for a short 12kv pole replacement. They usually save the steel poles for tall poles or H-Frame replacements

These run from east to west all the way across the state. They run into Texas, turn north, come back through LA and go up to Arkansas

Very old Entergy Riser poles. Only the bottom circuit is actually connected to the substation on the other side of the street. The top circuit now belongs to LUS.

Still a little bit of a lean on these

This line was uprgaded a few years ago through this small community. The lines and insulators were replaced as were a lot of the poles.

1.2 i took this just around the corner from my house. i was on my way to take some pictures of a huge branch that got blown down yesterday, but i liked this shot better. also, i ordered a new camera yesterday, and i'm so excited.

The new mono pole design for the old double H-Frames

Older OPPD 69-kv substation at 30th and Chandler Road in Bellevue, Nebraska. In this substation the 13.8-kv switchgear is located outside rather than being in an enclosure.

One phase is a deadend on this pole.

The old pole was hit by a pole a few years ago. They replaced it with a really thick pole, probably because it's so close to the street corner.
